As a lot of people lik e to hear from Govener about the economic perspectives and also the future-strategies for our economy , as the current government urges the Nation bank to decrease interest rates to balance out with our current economic situations as we don’t have the inflation anymore but in other way around we’re in deflation that means its stiff , and the next bank meeting would take place again in months we’re quite curious what sort of contend will be discuss in the meeting , if some detail would disclose publicly . Great accent 14:28 just learned the monetary policy is not stand alone by the Governor but has to come from the 7 figures in the committee

Wow Amazing Accents. I like the way that the governor handled the question related to the possible standpoints between him and Prime Minister. The national bank looks forward to sustainable growth and encourage the Government to have looked into sustainable investments especially human capital. To attract the FDI, we will need our workforces being equipped with the new skillsets and also visionary perspectives rather than those gaging students down to the road for car racing and fighting each other with no value creation.

I founded a technology company here, but the taxes are too high here now. 37% for our people! And condo costs are too high, and foreigners cannot buy a house here. So I'm looking at moving our offices to a cheaper country.

the 37% is for personal income tax rate , but for coporate tax it's 20%. Foreigners are allowed to acquire a land for residential purpose in Thailand with no more than 1 rai provided that they comply with certain regulations issued by the Land Department. But this law is very limited.

Interest rate on saving account in Thailand 1.5% per annum whereas here in Australia we get 5.5% per annum. Again, saving account, not talking about fixed term deposit. Unbelievable isn't it. Oh Thailand has rich people and if our interest rate is high, they will abuse it, oh wait Australia doesn't have any wealthy people? Damn think about the average Joe in Thailand and when they look at the rate, they'll be put off from start saving their money, and invest in something that could be risky, look at the gambling problem, ponzi scheme issues, MLM related issues. Wake up! Thailand!

คนที่พูดอังกฤษเก่ง อาจจะไม่เก่งในทุกด้านนะครับ แต่ความคิดผมๆว่าท่านผู้ว่าดำเนินนโยบายผิดครับที่ไม่ยอมลดดอกเบี้ย อย่างน้อยก็ 0.25 %ก็ยังดี ผมว่าท่านดื้อดึงมากกว่าเพราะกลัวเสียหน้านะครับ

​​​​@@chenhuixin0514ถ้าลดลงมาก็จะมีผลดีต่อคนเป็นหนี้ครับโดยเฉพาะบริษัทต่างๆที่กู้เงินมาลงทุน ตอนนี้หลายบริษัทแบกภาระดอกเบี้ยรวมถึงคนที่ ผ่อนบ้าน ผ่อนบัตรเครดิต พวก SME ต่างๆ พวกที่ขายบ้านก็ขายไม่ออกเพราะดอกเบี้ยสูงคนไม่ซื้อต่อให้ซื้อก็อาจผ่อนไม่ไหว นายกเลยหัวเสียไง 555 มันเข้าธุรกิจเค้าเต็มๆ สังเกตุจากการยึดรถยึดบ้านได้เลยเลยครับ แต่ถ้าลดแล้วผลเสียจะใหญ่มากๆเพราะตอนนี้เราขึ้นดอกเบี้ยมาแค่ 2.5 แต่อเมริกาขึ้นไป 5.5 เงินทุนไหลออกไม่หยุดเพราะมันไหลไปยังดอกเบี้ยที่สูงกว่าเสมอทำให้ค่าเงินบาทอ่อนการนำเข้ามีต้นทุนที่สูงมากข้าวของจะแพงและมีการขึ้นราคาเกิดเงินเฟ้อ สิ่งที่ตามมาที่น่ากลัวคือ คนเอาเงินเก็บและเงินในอนาคตมาใช้แล้วเกิดหนี้สาธารณะ การเงินติดขัดอำนาจการซื้อของคนลดลงส่งผลต่อผู่ผลิต พอผลิตแล้วไม่มีคนซื้อก็จำเป็นต้องเอาคนออก ตัดทุกอย่างเพื่อลดต้นทุน ส่งผลไปถึงการจ่ายภาษีให้รัฐลดลงเพราะรายได้น้อยลง ตอนนี้สิ่งที่ทำให้เงินไหลออกอีกอย่างคือ นักลงทุนเอาเงินออกเพราะไม่เชื่อมั่นในเสถียรภาพการเมืองไทยด้วย เป็นแรงสนับสนุนให้ค่าเงินอ่อนอีก ถ้าลดดอกเบี้ยในภาวะแบบนี้คือคิดสั้นมาก
