It reminds me of the forgotten Jordan 4 neon 95 too. I know the midsole is black on the neon ones but this grey reminds me of them. Folks hated that shoe but I loved it. And yes, it looks like kaws version. This paris is solid. Definitely will try to pick this up.

I think they’re inspired by the 2024 Summer Olympic medals have a piece of iron from the the actual Eiffel Tower, and that’s color of the iron on the actual medals. And also maybe the streets of Paris. But Nike still didn’t officially release or publish the story about this shoe.

now that i know the inspiration the "netting" pieces and tongue make more sense. The imprint of the Jordan emblem is similar to how you could imprint your hand print into wet concrete. same with the parts that replaced the netting.

I like these but the netting is such a downside. I have the olive 4s and i had to clean a stain on the netting end it absolutely destroyed the pattern with light pressure. Very hard to recreate the pattern and it doesn’t look as good now…partly my fault but cleaning these will be difficult

It's not the "Paris Olympics" that the shoe is based on. It's just the color grey is called "Paris Grey." Which is named that because Paris is statistically one of the greyest/gloomiest cities weather-wise in the world.

An Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe on the back tab would be dope fr. And I think on the lateral/outer side of the toe box where they put mini swoosh on AM1 sometimes, I think a debossed mini olympic rings (no color) would be real sick too. Especially since they are monochromatic, I don’t think a lil extra hit like that wouldn’t make them “too much” or too busy etc. And if they did the Eiffel Tower on the back tab (or even without it and just the standard swoosh or maybe Olympic rings) I think branding the tab with “Nike Paris” (or even Nike “Pairis”??) would be a kind of dope play on the OG Nike Air branding and really set these apart. Especially for the $225. Rather have extra details on the shoe like that than pay more for a special box that’s just gonna go in a stack of empty boxes in my room anyway…. Also I feel like a darker greg lace would look better than the stock laces. If I grab them eventually that’s 100% a swap I’d have to make 🔥🔥

I dont get it my LN3 retail pair from nike snkrs app has slightly darker buttery suade. were yu can see finger strokes. And my other retail LNM pair has slighty lighter suade and yu cant really see finger strokes? I dont get it what is going on??? Rather have the regular ass J4 box and pay 200 frfr. Really like them but just don’t think I justify it to myself considering I’m already sitting on prob 8-9 pairs of 4’s I haven’t even un-DS’d yet. Def super wearable and match everything almost but I’m forcing myself to pass on these for now I think. Plus I don’t think there’s gonna be really any resale value to them (especially @ 225) so def a pair I can come back to maybe later in the year and prob still pay retail for.
