Is it really that bad to sell a sneaker for what it’s worth at a time? There is an argument to be made that buying a hype sneaker with the intention to resell it is scummy. I really think the value of Virgil’s shoes have just gone up. So what.

@@alexsal6622 its not similar, but let’s imagine. it’s a similar circumstance to kobe’s. kobe’s would sit in outlets until the day he died, where everyone mauled them and flipped them. similar thing, everyone had mauled them and flipped them. i can understand the argument, they’re hype beast shoes already or whatever, however in this situation it’s the context that matters.

Those Nike’s that looked like Dunks were the Squash that sat at outlets for a long time and those Elements are actually the 55, not the 87. All the 87’s have the translucent upper. Love the vids and look forward to them every week!

@@rawsanity27 true but i don’t think he will keep going at this pace and don’t think it makes sense to keep going at this pace. the more money you have, the easier it is to make money in the sneaker game and that applies to most industries. he’s now able to enter draws + online releases e.g. patent bred 1, travis scott 1s (if they release) etc and he can gain more per trade now. i doubt he would use one because of the ethics but if he wanted to he could also now afford a bot. but yea, if he keeps using this plato’s closet and other stores + just small profit sneaker drops this series could easily go on for a couple years.

Certain Balenciagas do sell but they are the more modern ones with the sizes stamped on the toes. Also, for an idea you can get some Jordan or Gucci Ace beaters and have them restored and sell those. A pretty decent amount of profit, but you have to look up the price of the restorers and shoe comps before hand.

Great vids Seth, just one comment. I'm not sure how these stores work in the States (i'm from the UK) but these stores here work as Charity usually stores and give profits to good causes etc. If the US stores are the same, I think a fitting end to this (alongside the mags obviously) would be to give a donation to a fund of some sort. Also feel a lot of people maybe rely on these stores to stay fresh for an affordable price, so maybe some sort of donation of your own? Just some thoughts, keep up the great work! :)
