Crazy story - in 2020 I was at Nike town in SF about to checkout and had the following 3 items of which I had to chose 2 because that was my budget that day: Authentic Steph Curry The Town jersey at $200 X 2 and AJ4 Black Cats at $190. That’s right I was choosing between doubling down on Steph Curry authentic jersey or getting one of those and a pair of Black Cat AJ4’s… sadly I ended up with two of the same Steph Curry jerseys (one of which I eventually ended up returning or exchanging) and totally whiffed on a shoe that’s currently going well over $1000 in my size 10.5… interestingly enough I was at Nike town on a random day and if I remember correctly, it had been at least a couple of weeks after that 2020 Black Cat AJ4’s dropped so surprisingly they did sit for at least some time but what a horrible decision as they had literally already scanned those in for purchase for me and I changed my mind last second to double up on that NBA jersey I ended up not even keeping… well I kept one of them but that was the worst decision making in my sneaker collecting history…

When it comes to rating shoes, many KZbinrs do a video “every xxx ranked 2024” and if you use the same scale you rate them from “must cop” down to “hard pass” or whatever jargon you use, you’ll be able to do videos that link up your review rating with an overall “every pair ranked” video later on. Try searching “every watch ranked” to see examples.
