Kaydara is a film made in the early 2000s by the creators of Blood Machines, before they were known as Seth Ickerman.
Kaydara is not a professional project and followed the "fan film" trend, inspired by the universe of The Matrix franchise.
In the opinion of the authors, it's a huge draft full of flaws, but it required so much work that it resulted in something atypical and a bit crazy.
Soon, we will share with you the making of the film (in 8 episodes) which tells how the authors tried to make a real Hollywood blockbuster in their garage. A gigantic human adventure that took 6 long years...

The Matrix 4 was a horrible movie. Instead, in Kaydara, you have respected the aesthetics, logic and story of the original trilogy. This is so much better. Great job.

Je suis reste toujours abasourdi par la qualité de la prod malgré le budget minimal, le ratio tend vers l'infini à ce niveau là (que ça soit sur Kaydara ou les projets suivant d'ailleurs) grâce à vous je travaille en compositing dans une boîte de VFX et je serais très heureux de faire de la roto 10h par jour pour un projet de Seth Ickerman !

27:00 /WHEN/ is this meant to be compared to the matrix movies? Could neo fly around in the wreckage of the world? Because i thought he could only defy reality inside the matrix. Also if my lore is correct isnt the entire earths sky blotted out with thick black cloud? making the earth always dark. which also destroyed any plant life, making the earth a wet, dark, barren dusty wasteland? Not that anything has to accurate for it to be fun.

We develop a philosophy in Kaydara that does not seem to us in opposition with that of the original films... Neo, does develop "powers" in the real world in Matrix reloaded and revolution... It makes sense to us and we wanted to develop this idea in our own film. As for the dark sky, yes you are right, but if you look at it, our skies are always very cloudy... We then made a balance between what we thought was real and aesthetic...
