Aria your 100% right and yes it's always the "stop wasting your time gaming because your gonna get no where" for me I always say ok let's do it but then there's moments where I completely stop because of a couple reasons: terible video quality, no capture card or decent PC to edit anything on, hate my voice and wouldn't show myself on camera...just a bunch of excuses basically that i know aren't a big deal but I should just say screw it and upload whatever as long as it shows my dedication to progress.

This is honestly more scary for me than amazing. Seeing how big gaming is getting is a scary fact. It is going to continue to grow huge and for us that have put in the work but the opportunities have yet to come, it could all go to waste very fast if gaming grows as big as it is foreseen. Gaming could easily become a sport like the NFL where it is a very small chance at getting to be a pro. This worries me very much and I would hate to see my hard work go to waste, seeing that I am only 15 and am not able to travel to the LANs that are a long distance from where I live which cause me not to be able to be on a well known team which would require full access of travel where as I only have access to events in driving distance. I've put in so much work and am so determined but if It keeps growing the way it is I may never see the day where I have made it deep into the scene.

pros say to follow your dreams, but lemme break this down for ya. The chances of you going pro are literally none. You must be intelligent, have the right personality, and well you gotta have connections. Its not all skill at the game, its very connection based. If you are getting pretty good with people you team with and are ready to take the next step, well you arent gonna do it by just looking at shawnabner. Notice how a lot o fpros (the ones that have gone pro in the last 1-2 years specifically) seemed to be pretty cool in high school. Theres not nearly as many "fatass no life virgin" looking pros on the scene, when if u look at csgo or the american dota scene, its a lot different. Basically, you have to have "swag" or things will be even 10x harder to go pro. Its not like studyy synfula or saints sat by themselves at lunch every day. Even then, if you do become a pro player, you have to be on optic to have any success in what brings scump the main chunk of money. If you dont grind youtube AND play for optic, you will get nowhere. Lets not forget when you fall off when you turn 22 years old. its literally happened to every single player who got to that age. Chances are, things wont line up for you like they did for scump, so please dont become a pro and dont call me a pessimist because i wasted 2 years of my life trying to go pro and never got anywhere. Damn thats a long post lol.

I'm sorry to say this but it's the brutal truth. Seth has done great for the last couple or so years but is it going to be like this 10 years from now? Pro gamers in Korea have a peak span between 16-26 based on reflexes and cognitive faculty. The same could be applied to COD. I'm also interested in where they can go after gaming but if you look at Flamesword and Big T there is stuff for them to do. A community manager at one of the big studios would be a good fit. They bring a well defined brand and a direct connection to the consumers.
