Great job Frank, I am very happy that you implemented many of my feature requests! Looks very cool!
@GaryRomans-i1q9 сағат бұрын
Frank - I really appreciate your programs and am using them more and more. The videos are a great help in learning what’s new and how to use them. One request would be can you slow them down a little. Sometimes it seems like you’re moving the mouse and clicking on things without saying what is happening. Maybe it’s me but a little slower with more explanation would be great. I don’t mean to be critical, just a request.

I hear you :) will work on that. Dont want my video taking too long either

Very excellent summary of the process flow. A missing feature that would really round out the entire suite, would be its own image stacking. That would make this an even better alternative to other programs.
@setiv210 сағат бұрын
Im not sure if i could offer any improvement over other stacking solutions, DSS, Siril, ASTAP are all free stacking solutions. Not sure what it would offer creating my own, unless the community thinks so

I agree the benefit may be small and is not a crucial function. It is a nice to have function for the future. The benefit is one less program to jump between. I think the suite has helped tremendously rather than the use of individual apps in that regard. For newbies it could help keep the workflow to the single suite without needing to learn another software.

Love the suite, im having problems running starnet though a window pops up asking for input file and output name? I have starnet installed in pixinsight how would I go about linking to my pixinsight version? this is on windows
@setiv211 сағат бұрын
You need to download the CLI version, not the GUI version

Frank, do you have an area for a noob to go to for learning the very basic stuff? It’s amazing work, I’m motivated to learn how to use your products but I have to start from ground zero. Thank you 17:04
@setiv211 сағат бұрын
How basic? Like do you have working knowledge to stack your images in something like Siril or DSS or are you starting from ground ground zero?
@philbivins713311 сағат бұрын
Yeah, ground zero. Sorry😊

How do I open in my Mac.
@setiv26 сағат бұрын
Just double click either the intel version or apple silicon version. It may take a minute or two to open. Just be pateint and dont close the terminal that opens
@timothymaurer67205 сағат бұрын
Wow...late to this party but is this a stand alone processing suite? As in, no PixInsight needed?
@setiv25 сағат бұрын
Correct, no PI needed. This started as a platform to make my PI scripts standalone and it just took off to a full editing suite with lots more future improvements
