Kolkata-based Debanjana Karmakar is an aspiring singer who has been one of the top 4 contestants in Indian Idol Junior-2013. Her mother is a homemaker and father works in a bank (also a music teacher). I had been reading about parents of Debanjana, Nishtha sharma and Ranita banerjee. And also Lata &Asha. What is common? Teir parents were music teachers. Music is in the genes.
