Dev is a really emotional man who can do even wrong for his mother while Sonakshi is a strong headed lady who has firm and strong principles. They can't survive together if someone is not there to guide them at extreme times. Here, Sonakshi did make adjustment with her principles when Saurabh explained. But truly, I really connect this situation to that super 30 where Anand sir refused to join the institute for the sake of innumerable poor aspirants. Here, Sonakshi wants to focus on all her patients. Already there is a shortage of doctors in India, and it is not a job of a nutritionist to take care of such things, just like Sona said it is the job of a professional maid or nurse who can do their work efficiently. So, Dev Dixit, the separation that happened started here giving Sonakshi the belief that you hold the power crumble everyone including yourself and Sonakshi herself for the sake of your mother. Had Ishwari been a better elderly person,under her guide their relationship would have flourished well.
