It's okay he got the deal but let me explain you the financial mind of Vineeta. 1% equity+ 1%royalty till she gets her money back which will only take around 1year as per the projected sales numbers (80-90crores) . If business will become bigger the valuation of company will become even bigger as the potential of his brand is great it can be easily more then 2times in a year only that means value of equity will be more than 2 crores + 1 crore she got from royalty ROI is min 200% in a year. If business is in stagnation or downside stage then she will recover her money easily from royalty and equity will be valued at same or maybe as low as 50 lakhs still she is able to make extra 50 lakhs so ROI is 50%.

With all due respect to your qualifications I disagree with you on that. Vineeta jumped in without knowing the market dynamics of the trade and the potential market of his products. Now if you are a regular user of Atar you would know that brand loyalty is everything with the fragrance enthusiasts as every old Attar establishment has its own formulations so there is a huge barrier of entry. Ajmal, Sheikh Md Ayub MdYaqoob, ML Ramnarayan, Tajul Bakshi are examples of decades old businesses with Gulab Singh Johrimal recently completing a whooping 199 years in business and catering to all the sections of the society. In addition to that not even a single question was asked about the safety compliance of the raw materials used as attars which are generally used directly on the skin. Neither were any questions raised with regard to his expertise in the field of perfumery nor any questions about the competition in the market. Perfumery is a niche market with backward integrated businesses having a good pedigree that command a major share of the market with decades old loyal customer base around the globe. All these are the things that matter in the trade, what Adil appears to be doing is bottling whatever he can find in fancy bottles and market it on the internet and I am sure he wouldn’t even be able to tell good from bad.

Even I was in the same situation earlier this week but I then decided to try Shanaya ( Their best seller ). And trust me it is long lasting and smells really good. Apart from the roller that we get everything is fantastic. I’m addicted to it now and thinking to use it on primary bases. Also it is slightly overpriced. 400 me badhiya rehta. But worth trying. I would suggest you to go for it. At least give it a try it’s our India’s brand 🔥
