Hope our paths cross, perhaps Quartzite (RTR). Love the ocean & mountains, you've got the best of both. Be happy, be safe to you two. Ciao!😎

Well Carolyn, I've watched you for a good long time, heading west, your recent stop in San Fran - then headed north to the Canadian border, of which, you're now in my 'neck of the woods' in that I've been to Seaton Lake, and the many other lakes in that area many many times! Yes, we're spoiled, as you've just wetted your appetite ever so little here in BC, as there is just SO much more to see of course. There is SO much history in the area you're in as well, both for the towns and villages in the area, but also the deciduous people...or, First Nations to us! Thanks for the 'walk about' and as always....will enjoy your future video's upcoming....as you'll be hitting many places I've been to, but they're always nice to see again through someone else's eyes! Safe Travels Carolyn!

The video hits the spot. Today was the last day of school and I'm leaving for my annual southwest trip on Tuesday with a new friend. I would be ok going alone, but my daughter and family would worry. I have done a solo sojourn in the past but as I get older everyone in my family would worry. My southwest adventures are to familiar and unknown places.

I spent a few summers at Seton Portage, at the other end of this lake. No traffic, no traffic lights. Kids got around riding bare back on horses. Very peaceful. Event of the day was the Budd rail car coming from the south. Scenery doesn't get any better. Carolyn, there is much more of this ahead.

Yep, I'm one of those both mentally and physically disabled paying a grand a month in rent for a crappy 850 sq foot apartment (nothing cheaper) and would *LOVE* to travel and even with PTSD would do it if not physically disablities and training a service dog. I know many with physical disabilities are nomads but with loosing feeling in my feet and hands, struggling to drive the 5 miles to work, there is just no way. I really look forward to all of y'alls videos (I follow many nomads). Living vicarasly through you. Sort of projecting myself there in my head. As corney as that sounds. Knowing I will never ever be able to travel. And at 37 years old, that's a depressing thought. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I could!

We have those screech owls here in northeastern Louisiana and they will scare the crap out of you at night !!! I've stepped away from the campfire at night to releave myself under a tree when one of them screams out, Well you don't have to use the bathroom anymore !!! But you will need clean underware .................... LOL !!!

With just a bit of luck, I'll be able to start an Alaska trip in July. I'm in the middle of cataract surgery. I've had my left eye done and will have the right one done on June 20. My left eye vision has vastly improved and hopefully the same will happen to my right. I think that I'll be able to drive without glasses and if I can, then I should be able to head out right after July 4.

Those dont sound like any kind of owls, almost sounds like wolf or coyote pups. Babies are coming out of the den now...glad you made it down safely, that loose stone looked killer, perhaps make a good hiking stick for downhill balance, can use it as a deterrent as well. Beautiful spot. Travel on!
