Yes ooooo my guy. Nigeria still has a long way to go ooooooo. The last time I checked about this BSF farming in Nigeria, only one guy is doing it in Nigeria. Well only saw that guy's video on KZbin, maybe there are more doing it locally but not on social media. So my guy, go ahead and do it. By so doing you will be adding value to the community and as a result be making money. God bless you jare.

@@Marysamuel I got some larvae from someone in Anambra state and they just turned to fly a few days ago and we are still waiting for them to mate. Another guy promised he would sell for me soon here in Lagos. It could change a lot of this for us here in Nigeria if done well.

@@Marysamuel Good day my sister and hope you are doing wonderfully well. Its shocking to hear that BSF larvae are difficult to get in Nigeria, to be honest I would have tot they should be everywhere in Nigeria oooooo. Hope you are using something with strong smell as a bait to attract the BSF. Maybe you need to watch more videos on KZbin bcus there are so many videos out there on how to go about it. Also if you buy fresh fish from market and you placed the intestine, Gills and every internal stuff in a bowl and place it in a warm environment BUT not direct sun light oooo bcus the Sun will dry up or kill the egg laid by the BSF ooooo. Make sure is not extremely dried by the sunlight and give it 24 to 48 hours, at the end of which you should be have your larvae. God bless you

The gist of breeding soldier flies is to reduce the cost of feeds, buying is not the best option
@mynigerianfarm70924 жыл бұрын
i recently got some bsf in the wild for use in my farm for the same purpose and i am building the population now. one advise; these flies are notorious for not wanting to mate, so if you find any in the wild... keep setting more traps because you need lots and lots and lots of them in the cage for mating to be induced. and since they die within a week, you still need wild populations to keep the eggs going until you have a stable system.

Have you thought of farming your land as Justin Rhodes & Joel Salitin. Use electric fencing & chicken rickshaws, to till & fertilize you land, you don't need brick & mortar, just cheap mobile electric fencing & mobile chicken coops with a section of land (paddocks), to grow more plants & vegetables. Owning & growing on a farm is the positive proactive side of being a medical doctor. You are honoring Hypocrites edict; Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.
