Super helpful video. I bought one a year ago for a holiday feeder, and I prefer to feed my fish by hand so it's been in the cupboard for a year. Now I went to set it up again for my next holiday and it wouldn't work! I forgot about pressing mode again to set the rotations. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't spinning. Thanks to you I got it. My only suggestion is pretend it's 1pm in the video so that it doesn't take as long to get to 21 just to show us how it works. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this!!!!! We accidentally threw away the directions after we first used it, so I can never remember how to set the darn thing!

Thank you sir. I didn't know about the arrows. My Resun feeder was about to be introduced to an AR15 at 100 yards/91.44 meters. You pardoned the feeder with this video.

Thanks you for this video. You saved me and my fish some heart ache.

Thank you! It's really easy to set it out of the box, but what got me was the "arrow" thingy - I did not notice it when I was setting the feeding times for the first time. Now I can leave for holidays! Although...remember guys - hungry fish is a healthy fish. Fish will not die without feeding for almost 3 weeks, so going for holiday for one week is not going to harm them. I'd be more worried about the water parameters while I am gone...

Great video. The instructions that come with the device are useless. They tell you how to set everything but never bother to tell you what each thing does.

I have 2 of these, they work great, but every time i change the batterys, I have to reprogram them.Therefore i always need a refresher on how to set them up. Your video was perfect!

Awesome information mate does it do this every day or just 1 day cause im working away for a week cheers
@MartinVisser3 жыл бұрын
If set per the instructions it should work at the same time everyday - you can configure up to 4 times per day. (To be honest I don't own this fish feeder, it was my father's, but it is designed exactly for that purpose)

Way too hard to program. If you are skilled at memorizing long, unintuitive sequences of button pushes, this will be a piece of cake. Otherwise, you will be almost everyone who purchased a VCR and was never able to set the current time on it. The VCR was the canonical example of a high tech device whose user interface was unintelligible because the people who designed it had no interest in making it easy to use. There are still plenty of software applications on the market that suffer from the same inadequacy.
