Love, love love writing the goals at the beginning of your monthly budget. Good luck in achieving all of them. My budget breaking months are January and February. I don't know why but those two months are the worst for me.

I just received your new budget planner. Where do I categorize gardening expenses? Our yard had only grass when we bought the house 2 years ago so I’m still working on developing the yard. It is partially hobby, partially exercise, partially home improvement/maintenance. Your thoughts?

Hey! You don't need my planner to get started. Just repeat all of the steps in a plain notebook. Use whatever you have just to get started. Before I created the planner, I would budget on a plain sheet of paper and still apply these same principles. 😀

Hi Alaina , I was wondering if you have any suggestions for those who are retired. Even though I don't have credit card debt I find that I have trouble with my meds fluctuating in price. It sometimes increases a great deal to the point where I am trying to decide if I should buy it. Do you have any ideas concerning that situation or a place where I can get help with budgeting in situations like this. Thank you

If you had other debt (say more credit cards), would you include the minimum payment in the monthly expenses or on the debt tracker sheet? It looks like you have the debt tracker set up for only one thing at a time. Is that something you would change if you had multiple credit cards?

I wouldn’t. I use the debt tracker to really keep track of the current debt I am working on. I’m mainly tracking principal payments to that debt

The Black & Red are Ink joy by Paper Mate She was using 0.7 ,but May have recently change to the point 0.5 . I love the Ink joy pens. On the Highlighters I have been trying to figure that out myself.
