I used to input axis by moving the throttle but always it selects y axis + or - but using your method it should resolve some of my problems that way I will keep my lovely g940 .

thanks again for your video. finally got hands on the msfs and the video helps a lot. however, is it possible to assign the TRIM3 on the joystick to the rudder trim axis? i can find rudder trim but cant assign an axis to it.

Hello, thanks for the video this helped quite a bit. However, I am having a problem with the rudder pedal brakes. In the controls menu everything appears to work fine, but in game the brakes are fully applied with no pedal pressure, then as you increase pressure to half way they disengage and then reengage to full as the pedals reach the bottom of travel. This happens regardless of whether reverse axis is selected or not. The only way I was able to determine this problem was by slowing down the reactivity. I have tried everything I can think of with null zones etc with no luck, any ideas??

yes and no. Most of the modern games don't support force feedback.. So, it would be awesome if the games supported it, but unfortunately the g940 is becoming obsolete because force feedback is a tech that is not longer supported.

The logitech profiler doesn't seem to exist on thier webpage anymore, and neither LGS nor Ghub detect the G940 (though oddly windows basic controller setup does.)

Can't get my throttle axis (both) to go the full range. It's set to 100% (full) in the profiler but in game they only go up to a maximum of around 70% and minimum of around 30%. Newest MSFS Patch installed, G940_Update_FW0142 and Fred41 (from GitHub) fix applied. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks.

thank you wery much. I have, however a big problem with my beloved old G940. Despite right calibration the trottle start to give gas only from 50% to 100% of the lenght I have. I don't know how to explain, I have to set trottle at 50% to start having even a little power. In the calibration prewiew setting controls is everything OK, in game not. The Joystick is wery sensitive with MSFS and I have highly reduced its sensitivity overall . Sometimes, randomly some inputs are not accepted, IE gear UP/down or mostly flaps. I have changed button for flaps and now is ok ...... but it is a little stange. In XP11 everything run as it should so it is a problem with MSFS.

You have used the wrong throttle axis. There is one that is -100% - +100%. You using the one that is 0%-100%

I just purchased MSFS2020 but can not get my 940 to work correctly. Using your advice I can get the flaps etc working and the rudder, but not the throttle, brakes or ailerons. I have downloaded the latest LG drivers but they do not seem correct with msfs. I also have x plane and the 940 works fine on that. There is no advice from MS or LG is there any problem down to the drivers and if so How do I cancel them just in msfs. Am I missing something (regrettably not a computer specialist so am desperate for help.

MSFS 2020 / Logitech G940 - parking brake, auto spoiler LED button assignment problem Dear All, I own Logitech g940. Happily, flawlessly playing FSX, X-Plane and Squadrons without any issue. With MSFS 2020 everything works perfect, except I found some trouble with parking brake and auto spoiler switch assigned to Thrust LED buttons. When I disengage those switches it works normally, but when I want to engage them they won’t work. I can see switches moving in cockpit, but simple they want stay locked in ON position. I have tried assignment on all G940 Thrust buttons. Problem is persistent on A320, Cessna etc… For example, flaps inc/dec, reverse toggle, landing gears, cockpit external view toggle are working perfectly on same Thrust LED buttons. I am kindly asking some advice or is it just MSFS bug. Btw, is there any „petition“ to MSFS to include Logitech g940 profile (like for newer joysticks) into MSFS controller menu ? With kind regards

I am considering buying one of these second hand. I am curious though, the profiler software labels the trim hat as "mini X/Y Axis". Is it actually a ministick rather than a hat?

don`t know what a ministick is but it is about as precise and appears to worl like these "analog" sticks on gamecontrollers so it`s not just a 9 position switch, the cross switch thingy right below it is though

nope. just the stick, and force feedback doesn't really work on many modern games.

If you're using WIndows 11, Select Windows 10 64-bit Logitech Gaming Software Software Version: 5.10.127 Last Update: 2010-03-30 seems to work with Windows 11
