Excellent video.. I love the PICS.. I have a lot of Atmel (AVR) chips, but they can be messed up changing the fuses the wrong way and PIC doesn't have that issue (Or not that I have run into). Thanks for the video, we need to let users know that PIC is out there and honestly has better options than AVR in my opinion.

Also should mention the 32.7khz crystal is great for timing delays.. Rounds out well for 1ms timings and assembly testing, if you're into that.

Thats great thing Great thing for PIC is if you need different crystal Just desold one and sold the other one

I tried this with a pickit4, but the chip is not recognized by MPLA X, or MPLAB IPE. Also I see that Pickit3 or Pickit4 pin 6 is unused, but you are using it. Is there something I’m missing? Thanks in advanced.
@learningmicrocontrollers3561 Жыл бұрын
Pin 6 is not necessary It has some special uses

Please make some videos about 8 pin microcontrollers. For small applications like two buttons to set the brightness of an led.
@learningmicrocontrollers35614 жыл бұрын
Sure i will make one on 14 pin aswell Let me tell you by the way schrmatics is same you need same pic kit same crystal same capacitors same hardware only difference will be small controller And different pins thats all

One thing I forgot to mention is that I don’t have the 22pf capacitors. I need to order some. Thanks again.

Caps are very important If they are not there then programming will not work

Can we use a cheap pic microcontroller to burn 2nd microcontroller
@learningmicrocontrollers35614 жыл бұрын
Thats hard question and requires research but for burning you need C language to be converted hex formats While controller have it in hex Right now there is no direct way

Any alternative to pickit. Can we use arduino to program pic microcontroller
@learningmicrocontrollers35614 жыл бұрын
Pickit 3 can burn up to 150 pic microcontrollers from 14 pin to 80 pin controller its supports all pic controllers including completed PIC families from PIC10 series till PIC32 and even support dsPIC family aswell Its a fair deal just $8 As compared to buying arduino board for every new controller That seem to be more costly in long run I am not teaching some university students to get grades I am making you a professional embedded egineer and developer So forget about arduino type already made stuff
@rizwanhameed57914 жыл бұрын
@@learningmicrocontrollers3561 thanks. I am also need some professional advice for to create or manufacture some kind of project. That why i am asking you to guide us on OTP microcontroller to reduce the cost.
@rizwanhameed57914 жыл бұрын
Any idea about OTP (one time programmable) microcontroller
@learningmicrocontrollers35614 жыл бұрын
Yes those are cheap But coding technique is same you learn it on a stable microcontroller if you already an expert you dont have to waste time on learning again If not then learn on a stable microcontroller like PIC16F877A Because mikroC coding is same for all controllers Once you learn how to program 1 PiC microcontroller then you can do coding of any PIC using mikroC So learn it simple and straight PIC C series families are 1 time programmable thats not for learners dont waste money on hardware without knowing how to code it Go for PIC16F877A type microcontroller Because it can sustain accidential voltages aswell upto 9V Small IC like 8 pin simply cant you will be wasting them Use an stable 1 to learn Coding is same for all PICs

Dont use that Dont buy pic strawberry Dont buy any of that stuff Make your own you can 20 boards In just 10$ of your design
