I love channels that give us the "nerd shots" of setting up rides, and the mechanics/engineering that make them work. Ive only recently came across your channel, so I can binge on your past videos. Thanks for doing this channel. I also seen that you've recently bought a roller coaster from Majestic, in New Waterford, Ohio. Thank you for purchasing something from a business so close to my home. I didn't even know they existed, and I consider myself a coaster enthusiast. Im just recently starting to appreciate flat rides more and more lately. I still love the rip your face off, intensity of I-305, at Kings Dominion, but sometimes you just gotta laugh, and have a good time on a scrambler.

DONT burn out on me w/real world challenges doing what you do. Your enthusiasm and energy to do what you do is classic American showmanship ! Tapping into your vids gives me a feeling the USA is doing well and going strong. Continued success to BRWA !

Love that ferris wheel. The gondolas roll on "rails" with that lift/turntable to put them in position. Such a good looking ride.

I worked Disney Attractions for 9 years. I never gave much thought to ride systems until then. I was very impressed with your attention to safety issues. I would feel safe riding the ones you set up.

I used to be "with it" with Reithoffer Shows and always loved the organized chaos of set-up and tear-down.

Did you work with the Soriani and Moser Flip ‘N’ Out or HUSS Tornado?
@sjtom573 ай бұрын
@@MrMakoFL No to both of those. I was mainly with an independent games agent but would occasionally help out with a ride here and there on moving day. Sad to say I left the business quite a few years ago due to being nailed by a drunk driver.

Another (and really the main) reason for the clearance from power lines: The high voltage ones (not the covered, twisted ones feeding buildings) carry voltages anywhere from 4,000 to over 34,000 volts (sometimes as much as 66,000 volts) and there are minimum approach distances before the voltage can arc (jump) to nearby grounded or conductive objects. Most utilities specify anywhere from 3-20 feet of clearance. (The steel tower transmission lines carrying upwards of 100,000 volts the distances are 30 feet or more.) You never want to get bit by anything in those voltage ranges.

Your videos are top notch, a lot of bigger companies could copy a lot of these. Thanks for taking us to this event and sharing all these insights. Impressive number of rides and very well presented. Was your company the main contractor and you hired all the additional companies?

This really brings back childhood memories. Australian National Rail used to hold something similar exclusive to their employees and their families come Christmas time (December is Summer in Australia). ☺️ Rides, Games, Entertainment and a massive Christmas BBQ. Good to see some of the American Rail Workers hold the same thing almost for families. 😉

Do you have to do 21:17 a safety inspection where you are? I am only familiar with NY ride laws that require a load test at the beginning of the season as well as a weekly state inspection if a ride is set up.. also I appreciate how well maintained your show is .. I worked for a family show that every pin was mushroomed over , the crew seemed to intentionally break lights or lose r clips , snap rigs and diaper clips, blocking.. hell we had a wisdom Aladdin that was missing half the marquee .. 10 years ago I would have loved to work for a show like yours… great video btw

They really didn't use to. If you remember 2 years ago the rail strike that threatened to shutdown 90% of our rails, this is probably the outcome of that fallout. You know, they gotta show the public that they're nice to their employees. This is a small gesture of kindness though. Even though this is pennies to them to do this. Making companies great again. One small step at a time.
