There are way better ones now. This one has rubber mats on the striking surfaces, but nowadays electronic drums have mesh heads that feels like hitting real drums. You can get really cheap e-kits with mesh heads from Alessis or Donner Music that do the job.

I'm not familiar with the brand. Alesis cords are labeled near the 1/4" plug at the end of each cable. I overlooked the labels on my 1st setup.
