100%, the best mod I've seen yet for inflatable setup. This will prolly be how I do it too. Genius

Built it, love it. Cost me about $100 for the 1" PVC pipe. Careful not to make it too wide, it might tear the seams. Fixed my seams with the patch, worked well. 22" x 48 "probably good. I used a LIFePO4 battery (50Ah) that I had for astronomy and a trolling motor doing nothing in my shed.

Brilliant idea! I was going to make a plywood floor for mine but this is much better. Light, waterproof and easy to disassemble for transport and storage. I quite fancy making a slightly longer frame so I can mount a solid seat and foot brace in addition to the motor.

The battery lasts for many, many hours with moderate use. I have to mention, though, that I rarely set the speed to max, and operate the motor infrequently while on the water.
