Setting up my 2023 Frankenplanner

I have been using a 2-month Frankenplanner for two years and I love it. I got the idea from you of course. I tried with 3 months, then with one, and two seem to work best for me. I've switched from current month and future month, back to current month and previous month because also like you, I keep the next month on separate discs on my desk so if by chance I need to refer to it, it's still there. One change I will be making for 2023 is combining my home section with pages from my budget planner (I just came up with this idea while watching your video). I'm hoping this will help me use the budget planner/section more efficiently and I've found that I don't really need a full month for home as long as I have a chore list which I think I will write on one of the HappyPlanner's monthly note pages. I am using 3 planners. The main one is your planner. Then I like the big HP for Memory/Journaling and another big HP for work so that my work papers will also fit.

I’m saving this and your planner line up video. They are super helpful! I only use 2 planners, a catch-all and a Faith planner. They’re pretty thick with the whole year in each one, I may think about making a monthly Frankenplanner!

I love using the frankin planner system for my planners. Will not go back to anything else. Disc bound and frankin planning 100%.

Hi Heather I'm on my first planner and having to do a major remodel at that. Right now, it's very full -- almost overflowing, so I'm just going to keep the full 6 months in along with just the monthly view for the 2nd 6 months. Then, as the months go by, that whole month will be removed to another set of discs and the new weekly pages will be added. This way I have the whole year, but not all the details in my planner.

I am also new to Haooy Planners. I have always used a planner in the last 20 yrs. But to try this out. And of course it's overwhelming. I did purchase 3 planners, as I want my everyday 3mo. Home zones, 3 mo. And a business planner. So I started to make mine last night & it was not working out. I was sooo afraid I was gonna mix them up. As my 2 planners r dashboard. But business is like a teachers planner. Thought that would be easier... am gonna rewatch this again. So wish me luck..

I just use one Classic and monthly I add from a Teacher Spread that I use for my Health. I track things like my blood sugar readings, steps and activity, the weather and then some journaling. I tried having only one month at a time, but I need to be able to look ahead easily so I went back to having my full planner with just my health pages worked in and out monthly.

I use a Teacher planner for work, a classic planner for everyday and a mini-planner. I frankenplan 2 months in my catchall. I'll be using your planner as well as some Happy planner pages w/ dashboard and horizontal just to change it up. I'm so excited to use your planner!

If the removable vinyl on your cover peels up over time, you could also try an iron-on or HTV, and use an EasyPress mini to put it on

Heather, where did you get the clear and black skinny and full page dividers/bookmarks that you put all your own words on from the mambi stick letters? I cant find those anywhere and they would help me so much. Thanks for sharing!!

@@kelleyspencer I use an Arc punch (from Staples) to do it. Arc has a punch that's a lot stronger than the HP one and it punches through them with no problem! I use it all the time for dividers in my work planner :)
