I work from home aswell and it’s the best thing ever because people feel more cosy here… people have even come in in their pyjamas for spraytans 😁 plus there’s plenty of free parking and not rushing around a town/city trying to get a space and routing for money to pay it! As long as you yourself are professional and presentable it doesn’t make a blind bit of difference whether you’re up to your eyeballs in debt for rent or Woking from home 🙂

Hey Huyana beauty, loved what you came up with for your home salon. Great saving and great cupboard for storage. I use my main bedroom which has a walk-in robe as my store room and the ensuite for clients to use for undressing and the toilet, also mirror for fixing up makeup when they leave and their hair if they need to. I use the shower in the ensuite for the spray tanning booth, easy to clean down with the shower head after use and squeegy the glass so it cleams. So many people are doing jobs at home so support your local home salon's people...Rozz...Brisbane...Australia

I'm considering a similar profession but many people have allergies to lysol and bleach. I know there are the salon cleaners. Hey, I didn't really do anything special to promote myself. Just Instagram and Facebook, but honestly word of mouth is what brought 99% of my clients in. Like anything else it just takes time ✌️

Do you have a private entrance into that studio or do you guide clients into the room ? I want to work from home but need to know how to guide them thru comfortably. I dont have a separate door.

No I don't have a private entrance unfortunately, but my salon room is on the ground floor right by my main door so they don't need to walk through my home to get there. Just work with what you've got, i wouldn't worry about it 👍
