SETTING UP OUR NEW WOODS LOOKOUT 8 PERSON, 3 SEASON TENT

We got this new Woods lookout 8 person, 3 season tent from Canadian Tire. It took us 20mins to set up this huge tent. (Not bad for the first timer 😂)

my favorite tent i've bought. used it one weekened when we had a 50mm rainfall at night, and only a few drops made it through. when they say its water proof, it certainly is.

Thank you for taking the time to post. I just bought and setup the 6 person version of this tent. When I took it down I noticed that the 4 section pole that supports the rainfly had bent slightly at the center point. Has the same pole on your tent remained straight or bent as well? Otherwise, seems like a great tent for its value, aluminum poles, full rainfly, interior height, and simple setup compared to many other larger tents on the market! Happy camping :)

I bought the 8 person tent. Yes, one of the poles bent slightly. It was enough so that the fly touched the tent on the one side. This affects the ability of the fly to keep rain out. I ended up returning it for that reason. Woods stands behind their products.

It’s a great tent for rainy days too. The rain fly covered the whole tent. Last summer camp it was raining the whole day, no water went inside our tent. Fully recommended 👌

10 minutes with three to four helpers? Do you think two people could set this up in ten minutes eventually? Looks like that might be difficult for two to do in windy conditions. Do you like the tent?

Yes 2 people can set the tent up. It is very easy to install. make sure to read the instruction ahead.
