This 72 year old SO enjoys your videos! I always have a smile and a laugh while watching you. You're like a Queen Bee--buzzin' all over the place, making snap decisions - that ALWAYS turns out great! When I was filling my totes, I caught myself saying, "Now, Robbie does it THIS way..." and I was breaking up sticks, tossing them into the bottom, and was repeating every step with, "And, Robbie adds this first..." I was finished before I even realized it! I'm up to 8 totes and my 6 stacked buckets. And I have pots in all of my totes too! THANK YOU for being you! You're like a breath of fresh air! Muchly needed in today's times.

Wowie! A suggestion to consider. Depending on how good your follow through is and your energy level 😉 prep 4-6 of them, drill your holes etc, get them planted and placed then do the next group, continuing on until you are finished. As I age and various little health issues pop up my enthusiasm is greater than my energy level holds out for. If I do little bits at a time I actually get some completed rather than lots just half done. Have fun with your garden! 👩‍🌾

Thank you for your videos!!!!! Thank you for sharing! You inspire me so much and I just cherish you! I absolutely love to listen and watch your videos! If I cannot watch I listen and I cannot tell you how you motivate me and inspire me and help my own creativity come out! I started 5 totes and I planted some seeds in little yogurt containers and unfortunately here in Missouri we haven’t had much sun just a lot of rain and cold 🥶 and wind. Today we have some sun with the cold. I bought some little plants at the farmers market and now I don’t know what to do. I think I get so anxious about messing up and wasting. When I watch you I feel more confident and encouraged to try and do something. I’m working outside today to make some more totes and put my little plants on top until I can learn where exactly they need to go permanently. I’m thinking I need to understand how much room they need and as far as sunlight and the rest that seems easier to figure out and learn. The hardest part for me to understand is the room plants and veggies need for permanent placement. It seems everyone tries to make it very complicated. You make gardening and growing seem possible for anyone even me! Thank you for doing your videos thank you for posting often and for just all your videos all your wisdom and encouragement and sharing! You are a treasure! I pray for God to bless you in His best ways so very much!

Do you grow any in ground veg in totes? I'm trying. Sweet potatoes, regular potatoes and carrots. Struggling a bit with the potatoes (both types) but still trying. I've totally adopted your 2 system. I love it, I've been composting in place in the ground for years but alas I no longer have much garden in the ground. So happy to have a great method of compost in place for container gardening. Happy growing 😉❤️ love from 🇨🇦

Both seeing and hearing are always better than only seeing or just hearing. In this, we are given an additional step to benefit ourselves in wisdom to be gained. We're able to see and hear, yes, but we are given something we generally would've only received from either a parent or a grandparent, or an older family-friendly friend as we would've watched and worked along side them. This gardener, you have to be so willing and ever-giving of self! One has to have to be willingly speaking out of their thoughts to be heard as they tend their work in the garden. The other, or two, perhaps three will be able to hear this! These are valuable lessons in learning! This specifically is the sharing of the cogs turning insights speaking out of your mind in the thought processes. It is for the learning of another, others. 🪴💗🪴💗🪴💗🪴💗🪴 In this example, we learn of Robbie's choices as to which of the squashes she decides to remove and her reasoning as for why. We hear her speaking out her decision to transplant two of the plants. What is not said but is understood by sight is that these two were far too healthy and established plants to toss into compost. 🪴💗🪴 Again, speaking out your thought processes to someone is a valuable lesson in their learning! It is a skill set learned in the moment of the actions completed for them. They gain from it, and they learn to make their best decisions and actions in their own thought processing, too. 💗💡💗 If you are one with a youth(s) walking and working alongside you in gardening, please do this! Before planting seeds or plants into soil, do this first, plant seeds of inspiration, and of life into them. If you already have been gardening with them, do it for them now. You want to write and date a handwritten letter to them. It will be one saved back, given to them when they're older or when your age or mind may prevent your ability for gardening or when you're deceased. If you want to make it a conscious choice as to when, for giving it, do! Some possibilities, maybe their twenty-first birthday, maybe along side with a wedding shower gift or perhaps with a gift of their first home for which they can have a garden in their own soil. You do want the certainity it will be given to them. In the letter let it be known the benefits and joys of gardening. Share that it is a continuation of life, life in sustaining of ourselves, and in life, being as small as to giving life within the soil. Beauty is in the plants; it is in our living life and in our souls. Tell them, letting it be known in that this letter was one seeded by a conscious choice you made. One by you, in giving of yourself as well as your every word spoke of gardening while gardening. It was never your randomly talking to yourself. It was a purposed layering in an added portion to their learning to garden in seeing, hearing, and understanding of thoughts and choices made in action. I wanted to write this because I seriously believe that it will be multi-fold for those living on and hopefully in carrying on to their generations. The letter most likely will be cherished. State it is your hope that they will want to continue in the cycle of life and in giving of gardening learned and in life itself. Speaking of cycles, please, please do teach them how to carry forth teaching to plant by the cycles of the moon phases. It will be the difference that nothing ever grows to reaping an abundance of harvesting! Learn them in saving back some of all seeds for the next year. Teach, too, to save some seeds from their annuals, but to also be in the practice of our annual flowers to constantly dead-head them. Saving some of these seeds back. However, it is so important to immediately carefully, correctly break the head open, dropping seeds to ground (lightly covering where able to), all before watering the flowers. This is the definition of "prolific," as it will be quickly seen and in years to come! This is something rarely ever read from in books. It is gleaned by personal companionship working in gardening together. 🥰😂🥰 It's totally fine if you choose to allow them to think; this is only you randomly talking to yourself..... 💗🌱💗 After all, you've had their letter, ready, waiting, and available for them. 💌 Carry on, Young Sprout! 💗🌱💗
