Had a small SD issue on my side, because of the big size of SD storage. 500+GB. In the case of 128 GB or higher you'll prob. need to select the 64K Cluster in the formatting window.

I did this a little more than a year ago, and forgot the steps. So when I took my Vita apart to replace the Joysticks and buttons on it, the SD card glitched out and refused to work anymore on this. I had to wipe and redo the steps today, and it works. Even better, I ported over a backup of my saves, and didn't lose anything in the process. This is a quality guide, and can be used in other ways as well. I am super satisfied.

To add to this you still need ur Sony memcard for fat models and ur internal memory for slims/pstv to boot hetake. Also u can take out the sd2vita card out and play cartridges as it automatically uses the Sony memcard / internal memory as backup according to storagemgr doc When SD2VITA is removed or not working and configured to be redirected to ux0, memcard/internal is by default mounted to ux0

@@5alood933 To access the root folder of the device - you have to do it only through an FTP connection, so yes, it took quite a long time. I was still lucky because there was only 1.3 gigabytes to copy from my native memory card

Im on 3.68 ive done everything right but when i turn my vita back on n try to get h-encore2 won't turn on unless I remove the sd2vita card. Should i use the blue h-encore instead or downgrade some more? Edit: nvm all i had to do was pick different save storage location. Was able to do this using 3.68 with h-encore2. Thx

i've installed sd2vita on my 1st gen vita and tried swapping the cartridge out with a physical game and it asks to format the memory card :/ Edit: Installed Switch SD2Vita and it works perfectly now.

U already should have unsafe mode enabled in Hetake settings

Every single time you restart your vita you need to install henkaku again and after you go to settings 》 Henkaku Settings and enable unsafe homebrew

hello there! ive got a psvita 1000 here. ive got an original sd card with 16gb here. my vita is on cfw 3.60 enso, but everything is saved on my sony sd card. so after i set up the SD CARD, copied all the backup files on it and put it in the vita, the vitashell app and the autoplugin which ive already installed will show on the livescreen? correct? or do i still need my sony sd card in the vita for using vitashell and autoplugin?

no need. u can copy all ur sony memory card content to pc then copy it to ur sdcard.. then u can load it with sd2vita

One thing I notice is that using the default for a 128 gb would cause some stuff to go over 1 gb from 140 mb. Like a lot of small files. Have been using sd2vita for awhile, do need to test some stuff to see if I can fix the issue by reformatting later
