So I’m buying Denon sc live 4 it comes with Serato pro. I also own turntables and would like to use them with Serato. Stupid question but can I use Serato pro that comes with Denon sc live 4 and also use it with my turntables using the Serato blank vinyl? Or do I need to buy another version of Serato? I’m absolutely new to digital dj so I don’t have a clue. Is this device what I need for Serato- re loop FLUX DVS interface for Serato pro?? And I buy a pair of the vinyl and I’m good? Ah and laptop?

I think maybe the users of this product should be reimbursed. 1st I bought a scratch live box than a ttm57. Than a sl3 when they all worked. I bought them on a ad they ran about future proof. Well they sold us this on a lie. False advertising is illegal. They better soon support sl2 sl3 and sl4 with big sur and mac x1 etc. Or reimburse me on the future proof lie.

Sl3 new boat anchor. Im think about my lawyer writing rane a nice letter. With pictures of ads they ran on future proof. Nope 4 or 5 years latter non compatible

You had channel 1 on phono and on the serato you turned chan 2 up for phono. Am I missing something?

Hi, I would need some help, as I'm not familiar with this technology. I have only 2 turntables (Technics 1200) and a basic mixer that fulfil my needs. How can I tell my computer/turntables if I want to play a real vinyl or a DVS vinyl ? (Will I have to make the selection back and forth on the rear panel of the soundcard all along my set ?)

OK make that box over and the back of that Serato box add USB cord in the back up for the DJ hard drive or a memory card add more sound it's time for the new Serato get rid of the RCA cords USB card do the mixer the same way

you dont need a sl box for connecting the djm 900 nxs. you only need a usb cable!

hi, i use ddj sx and there is no problem while i use laptop for playing a music, but when i use my PC there is no sound output, and the master level is off, do you know the problem ? or is it my default pc sound card ? because in the sound properties on the " recording tab" supposedly microphone is set as a default, but in my pc it explained "not plugged in", i put the link to describe that, pardon for my english. thanks for information i use windows 7 imgur.com/snhG3tC

Hmm, we're not sure i'm afraid. It seems like it could be the PC soundcard. Have you got the DDJ SX driver installed on your PC. This could be worth checking first. Don't think sl1 work with Windows 10 or serato DJ sorry mate, you might be able to get it to work if you use Windows 7 and install an old version of serato scratch live.

I connected the DS1 with CDJ's and they react. I can play and pause my track, but when I want to change the tempo, nothing happens. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Have you got the master tempo turned off on the cdjs? Make sure that it’s turned off.

With Serato it has to be a soundcard that is officially supported. You can't map in your own sound cards sadly.

It depends if you plan on using Serato on CDJs/Turntables or just at home. If you're just planning on using your SX2 with turntables for example then it should have come with the DVS expansion already. If not then just buy the DVS expansion to use turntables with the SX2.

What is the difference between SL 1 and SL 3? Is the sound quality of SL 3 better?

The sound quality of the SL3 is much better. The SL4 even better still. The big difference however is that the SL1 only works with Serato Scratch Live and doesnt support the current Serato DJ. The SL3 works with both. The SL3 also have a third input and output if you wanted to use 3 decks in DVS mode or record your sets.

SL1 you can't use Serato Dj. There are no more up date for SL1. SL2 to Sl4 you use serato Dj. Plus sl3 to SL4 you can record both deck at same time

with cdj 2000 it worked fine for me in HID mode, but with cdj 2000 nxs i had multiple crashes and scratch live just freezes( my luck was that the music went on but no more control until mac and cdj were restarted) but with the 2000 it is great

+UltimateZegger007 each box from Rane and the Denon has a screw on the box itself that allows you to trap the grounding cable. Sorry for missing that part!
