Hello friends
Today, my mother and I are going to introduce you to one of the rituals of ancient Iran; According to ancient Iranian customs and traditions, they spent the last four weeks of the year with various celebrations and welcomed the new year and spring!
This event was celebrated every Wednesday with the four titles of water, soil, wind and fire!
On Water Wednesday, people went to the banks of the rivers and used to celebrate and wash their feet there!
Wind Wednesday was celebrated because of the warm winds blowing at the end of winter, which symbolized the warming of the air and the blossoming of trees; The festival of fire Wednesday is one of the biggest festivals of Iranians, which is known as "Suri" and is held every year all over the world!
But today we celebrated the soil festival, and for this reason, we dusted the house and planted flowers and plants in the yard to help nature flourish in the soil in the new year! I hope you enjoy this old ritual of ours and if you like it, you will pass it too!
