Here is how you test an antenna switch for SWR insertion, in line attenuation and isolation between ports.
The NanoVNA is a great little unit for doing so many things and not limiting yourself to just checking SWR of an antenna.
Here is a link to my last video where is show you how to set the NanoVNA up for making the above tests.

Thx Barry for the no bull laymen approach. Without any back ground music informative novice hams take and the extra class ham take notice or learn the hard way

Lets hear it for the little inexpensive piece of gear too... Damn Nano VNA technology is un-believable and this video just re-enforces what an outstanding addition the Nano is to any amateur station for under a C note. Excellent presentation... 73

Barry, another question; The Attenuator On CH1, does that ADD to the negative dB reading you are seeing? Exp.; The -72 dB? Would that really be -62dB ? Also, I know that 150 MHz is close to 2M, but why not stop / use 148 MHz ?

Once calibrated, the 10 db pad is transparent. So no, it does not affect the reading. If it says -72 db, it's -72 db. Barry

Excellent, thanks Barry, you have a great teaching style. Would it be possible to create a future video on making and testing rf transformers using various ferrite cores?

Any chance you might use the NanoVNA to check the effectiveness of the clamp-on baluns that many equipment makes put on coax and power cables. I assume they must do something or they wouldn't be there. But are they as good as wraps around a torrid?
