In this video, I will guide you through the process of setting up your Epson SureColor F170 sublimation printer on your Mac computer. I will also be doing a test print on a Cricut mug using the Cricut Mug press. Can I reset the printer after I have already put the ink in? The images printing are not correct do to an error when setting up

You can try uninstalling and then reinstall the the printer to your computer. It’s fine if the ink is already in it. If you are having trouble with the colour of your images this video may help kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHS1coFpfMhor5Y

Hi there again. When you say enter your password after you do your downloads of the drivers and click install, and where it says “Epson wants to make changes” what password are you referring to? I apologize if this is a dumb question but I’ve never installed a printer. My husband always did this and he passed away last year and now I’m here not knowing anything about this. Barely learning. Great tutorial! I’m struggling with the colors not being true (pink is red & teal is blue). Seems like your purple image is also a different shade/color than original.

I have not had that issue. Does it happen with every image or just certain ones? Could it be the resolution of the image you are using.

hi i have this printer as well but I'm trying to do a sublimation with tv font on a dark t shirt. Where can i find the other settings such as paper type (matte presentation), etc. I see on all these youtube videos I'm watching. Epson doesn't; seem to be much help imo.

i just got mine and i was told there is no such thing as those kind a paper since this printer is designed for sublimation you dont need to worri about that, printer already knows you are using sublimation paper.... not sure how true is that but thats what i was told 🙅

You can’t print directly but can can apply Heat sublimation transfer vinyl first and sublimate on top. There are a lot of videos. I’m trying as I text. Pray for me 😂

You may need to call Epson directly if you’re having trouble getting it to connect.

I currently don’t have a video on that but that’s a great idea. I havnt tried myself yet but I imagine it’s not much different than loading 8.5x11, maybe just leave the paper drawer flap open.

I tried it. Printing from acrobat, in airprint i setup a new paper format to match the size of my paper and image. Then when i print it, it only prints right to the spot where the letter format ends. It sucks! I think its because the driver of the f170 only enables you for three formats, and that is dismissing the airprints settings. Ar least i cant find any other reason. Mac is ruining it for us to print on the f170!! I also tried the dtf hack but as i cannot adjust paper thickness or ink density, you just cannot get around it. In this case its better to use a pc or buy a random epson not meant for sub. 😢
