Mines said the same thing but if you stroll all the way down this message will come up “If your Family Hub is running Software Version Tizen 6.0 (which can be found on your Family Hub from Settings > About Family Hub > Software version TIZEN6.0) the Samsung Family Hub app will be no longer supported.”

If you press the water button for 3 seconds it locks it. Hold for another 3 seconds to unlock it.

When you setup the fridge, it will ask you to either login with an existing Samsung account or will walk you through creating a new one.

so I have this Samsung fridge without the handles and bought it a year and half ago. there is a well known problem with the ice maker not working and breaking down which they fix. there is also a well known issue with the fridge not working and not cooling after some use. Mine had the ice maker replaced, and even with a reset, and setting the temp to 37 and -2 for freezer, and turning on power cool and power freeze the fridge is not cooling at all !!!!!!! Nice idea to go to high tech. But if a refrigerator does not cool, it is not a refrigerator, it is just a tablet and a storage cabinet.

Hi Best Buy! So I just purchased a Samsung smart fridge for my new home that's getting built. The thing is, the home won't be completed until January or February. Right now, I have it sitting in my garage with all the packing stuff still on it. Would it be feasible to keep it in my garage through the winter without damaging the fridge's electronics, or should I attempt to bring it inside?

On the refrigerator, You'll want to tap "Settings" and then "Profiles". From there, you can tap "Add" to create a new profile. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your video, what I haven't been able to do is prevent the default pictures from showing up automatically. I already have my album, I can play them in the slide show but after some idle time the pictures that start playing are not mine, are the ones that came with the fridge. The funny thing is that I deleted that album also, and still nothing. Any idea? thanks

Unfortunately, I have an iPhone and the screens and steps shown on the video are totally different on the iPhone version of both the refrigerator hub and smart things app. I’ve been trying to get the hub connected to my phone since 9/18. It’s now 10/1 and an hour on the phone with Samsung support was a total waste of time. Got I hate Android OS.

I would like to know how to send or receive a message using "White Board" application on the refrigerator. I have Family Hub set up on the Android phone but I can not find a way to find the message left on the refrigerator. Just in case, ensure you have the latest software on your Samsung Family Hub fridge. Once that's complete, you should be able to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see apps available for the device. Look for the Smart Things widget, then touch and hold until a popup appears giving you an option to either "Add to home" or "Add Widget".
