Settings for your RC 505 LOOPSTATION | Beginners/Advanced TIPS

0:36 Input/Multi-FX Set to MULTI instead of SINGLE. tap TAP TEMPO and then the < > until you find it and spin the memory knob to select 1:19 Memory Sys:quick clear and all clear Let's you erase faster, with a double tap, instead of holding the button for 2 seconds. also clears all if you hold START for 2 seconds 1:56 Free Measures Hit EDIT on your selected track and then < > until you find TRACK#: Measure. set it to free if you are confident you can hit the loop button on time or set a specific time, like 2 measures, if you want a track for that 3:15 Threshold: system > Sys: NS Threshold. set it to 90 if you want to gate outside noises in live shows when you're not speaking 4:14 USB Mode System > set to AUDIO/MIDI if you want to play through your computer 4:59 Metronome In the rhythm section, hit EDIT and < > until Rhythm:Line Out shows - set to OFF so the LINE OUT doesn't receive your click track. 5:22 Presets Memory knob selects different presets. teaches how to set effects and write presets. 7:00 volume make sure your output level is 3/4 and your input is low so you dont pick up surrounding sounds

Some things i knew regarding the settings, but that threshold setting ( Alem voice ) it’s new for me 😂 so that was a great tip ! Specially when you’re practicing with noises around you, or if one would go live with his loopstation. So yeah good, clear and helpful video man ! Respect 😎🙌🏼

The threshold also cuts off the tones sustain and other frequencies though when it is turned up really high. I was wondering why my beats weren't sounding as full or how they sounded coming from my synth, and I finally realized that the threshold was messing up the synth and drum sounds pretty much. If you are going to record vocals, then maybe you want to turn the threshold up more, but make sure it is at 0 when you record your synth sounds or parts wherever or whatever you are recording them into, before you record your vocals. If you turn the threshold up while recording your vocals and synths together, alot of your synth and drum sounds are going to be cutoff, and the tone is going to be way different...SBN

Already the first track is completely off, but if I imagine adding more tracks the beats and melodies will be completely off with gaps and stuff like that.

Hello .. I have a problem ...in some cases I record a beat on a specific track and right after I start recording on a second track..I can hear the voice and effects but the second track starts clipping after it turns/yellow or green(stop recording) and the sound is gone from that specific track ...I have to stop the tracks and then play them and then they work fine...but I don't want to stop it in the middle of the progress ..anyone knows what's the reason or how to solve this issue?..thanks.
