What does one gain by visiting a remote place by taking the passive role of a typical tourist? You get an magical experience, a fond memory of an observer like a fly on the wall but you lack the interactions with the natives to get a glimpse of what is it like living there, why they think differently, have different core values about life as you, etc. The video, the memory can be locked and taken back home but the latter elements, which make living there being very different to the framework of your life at your home country, get left behind untouched. A tourist must reach out to interact with the natives, hold conversation in a common language to compare and discover the differences in the two worlds, then, and only then, does the tourist leave behind some traces of his own home culture and take home taxes of the foreign culture for a more complete experience of the travel.

Hallstatt village is my most beautiful village so far, even I have been visited many European beautiful villages. But you must stay overnight there. I still remember When I woke up very early. I open up my curtain, I was shocked to see a giant slow motion cloud flow on the lake in a low level. it was so beautiful and breathtaking scene I have in my life. I saw a swan come from the opposite side and swim slowly to the village. No people on the street yet. Everyone still sleeping. You heard the bird singsong around. it was so peaceful morning. You should stay one night and go to their nearby snow mountain. To bad a lot of tourists didn't know it. You will have the best juicy pizza there and have a 360-degree view to see all the tiny village around the lake and mountain. the Snow is so WHITE and Clean!! I have a good time there. I will go back again!!!
