Do you need to advertise your physical link also when advertising your IRB's?

Nope, the physical interface in this example (ge-0/0/0) needs to advertised to form the OSPF neighborship with the remote device. Outside of that you only need to adverse the interfaces with IP addresses if you want those networks to be reachable from the remote device. Hope this helps!

@@jongreenit I have two different ares, area 0 and area 10, i need to redistribute the ospf routes from area 0 to area 10 and redistribute the routes from area 10 to area 0, Note: i have a cisco fw and need to replace it to juniper, so i want to have the same configuration

Gotcha, so redistribution of routes on Juniper takes place through the use of “route policies”. When creating your policy statement ensure to specify the protocol in which you want to match on, in this case that will be OSPF. You can also specify a route filter to match on the specific networks that you want to redistribute.
