This is a good video. I just replaced the battery inside mine with one from Amazon. I had to splice on the original battery plug-in, but it works. The knobs that hold it from the sides are difficult to unfasten and put the small bolts back in due to the tight space. It is worth it to replace the battery when it wears out, as these lights are quite bright and the entire unit can be a bit pricey at regular price. The motion sensing "auto" mode of the switch is one of the side positions, I think to the right when facing the light.

My light does not come on. We replaced it with a new one under warranty and are having the exact same issue. Is it my settings I wonder???

I would exchange it. Canadian Tire warranty is pretty good. If you followed this video it should work , if you didn't than it might not

I just installed two. They now only blink when they sense something. I can't figure out why? Any ideas?

@@TechandDesign yeah instructions say it need 2 to 5 days of full sunlight in the off position to function. Ive already taken it down to return it.

Hi. I have a question when the unit is in auto the light never come on even when i adjust the settings. Any ideas? I know the light works because when I’m in “on” position its fully bright. The lux is set to nearly the moon side. And testing at night it doesn’t seem to work with the motion activation. Not sure what happened to it.

Defective or your set up is maybe too sensitive . Maybe. Because it works great in the rain and even snow. Working very well so far as I am still testing it out.

Thanks a lot for the video. Just a little advice, don’t install your solar panel facing up, flat. Water will stay on it and can cause damage to your panel.

Warning, the battery life on this unit is very low, I personally had the battery stop holding a charge after only 1.5 yrs, many comments on the product say the same thing happened to them. It's great, but will need a new battery shortly after purchase.

mine is now 3 years old and I have not had to replace the battery. if yours is 3 months old just exchange or return it. easy

You made mistake in Lux setting. Just in dark to turn to min . If you turn to max then it activates even in sun
