Not much wood around the spot to fuel the stove. Congrats on setting the tent up in windy condition. Nice tent and stove.

This looks like the Luxe Hercules tent but smaller. Why is your tent the one I should buy?

Take a look at our webshop and the specifications for the Gamme 6, I also recommend reading about our choices. Then make up your mind. You know best what is important to you. :-)

Professional response from the manufacturer. But as an outdoorsmen, I don’t mind pointing out that The Hercules has fiberglass poles and polyester material (it’s a disposable). Nortent uses aluminum poles and silicone treated nylon ripstop (silnylon - look it up). The materials alone set Nortent way apart.

@@cmshelborne9146 I wonder why so many people would want a Hilleberg instead when they are SO short in comparison?? Sure it’s a hot tent but so what, can’t you simply ignore the hot stove option and leave the hole closed if you don’t want it? I feel like I’m missing something on why a 41” high Hilleberg Staika is just like $50 more than a 73” high Gamme 6

@@joebuck4496 Hillebergs are double walled so they are about 20 Degrees warmer on the inside with an optional floor. It just depends on the options you want. Not being able to stand up inside can be a considerable deal breaker if you have physical limitations.

Nortent has copied a lot of ideas from Hilleberg in the construction and setup of this tent. The gamme seems to be a better deal than the Tarra at a similar price point. The stove jack is the best selling point for the Nortent.

It’s HUGE compared to Hillebergs!! Hillebergs don’t have any tents that you can stand in (besides blue label which are a completely different category). Man now the Gamme 8 is 85 inches high!!

@@joebuck4496 it’s funny how that always happens...just as I bought the best. (The Tarra) Someone else comes out with a modified teepee such as the Gamme. Nortents and some other tipis worth considering too.

@@joebuck4496 There is a Hilleberg Atlas for 6-8 people where you can stand. Very similar setup with the poles. The Atlas is not prepared for a stove.

@@HaraldBang Gamme 8 is actually the tear strength of Hilleberg Blue Label/Atlas, which is friggin incredible!! It’s also taller, and much more affordable. The only thing that sucks is that you have to seem seal the Gamme 8 yourself ugh, whereas Hillebergs have special knitting techniques which make seam sealing unnecessary.

@@n9oqu I like how forgiving self standing dome tents are when it comes to “Finding a spot and staking.” The Tara has its advantages too!! Being “Stuck with” a Hilleberg Tara is certainly not a terrible thing 😂 😂

For $1000, this should be a much more simpler process. This would be a nightmare during a snowstorm.
