For that to be an arranger keyboard, it has a VERY LIMITED user panel. Even the ctx series has a very user friendly panel. I feel like casio started that mayhem with user face because the ModX has a limited user face and Nautilus has a limited user interface. Even though those two have touchscreen, still very limited interface, especially with the korg nautilus coming from kronos and krome with also are great user interfaces, especially krome.

Really helpful tutorial, like yours always are. The interface on this model is very different from other keyboards and the steps needed can sometimes require some user manual diving. While these models come with a quick start guide, nothing beats watching someone explain things. It gets a person playing right away. The user manual on both the CT-S500 and Ct-S1000V are online versions, not a physical book, so this is helpful for new buyers. Once a person learns the steps on this one, function selection can be pretty fast. You are always so supportive of beginners and that's one of the things I appreciate about you.Thank you again. Your videos are superb.
@ShellyAnderson06242 жыл бұрын
Jeremy, did you get a book-type manual with yours? I didn't, so I was wondering...
@JeremySee2 жыл бұрын
To cut cost & paper waste as well as the ability to update the contents, most mid-range portable keyboards come with only manuals you can download. Casio sacrificed quite a bit of the UI for the form factor.
@ShellyAnderson06242 жыл бұрын
@@JeremySee I kinda like that lots of functions are on the center panel, but yeah, it takes some figuring out. At least it has a jog wheel so you can scroll things a little faster. Labeled categories, where you punch numbers in can be an advantage, though. Personal preferences, i guess :)

Thanks Jeremy for this tutorial, I found out reducing the Buttons ends up in multi menues, especialliy the registration process, instead of pressing two knobs simultaniously and done you get asked: shure?... Hmmh... By the way, after taking the first lessons with a teacher, learning blind chord Switching while playing melody, i found out how difficult it is with accomp.... But a lot of fun if I'm in...now I know why it is always so important in your Videos... It drives me to improvise after finishing a song and sounds like a real band... Makes me smile and keeps me motivated...playing music is great and satisfying👍😊

Great hands on video for owners of these keyboards, Jeremy, and a good sample of your Arranger Keyboard. I never heard of anyone else with a course like this for multiple specific keyboards. I still like the CT-S1000V and the PSR-EW425, and if I had the resources and space to put them, I would get both, plus the Fantom-06/07 and the Yamaha Reface CP to add to my audio arsenal. But, since already have some nice keyboards, and not as active as you or others, I can only justify one more keyboard for now, mostly because of the sound quality of the tones I want. The Fantom is incredible but these Casios and Yamahas are very great for the price, the current pairs from each. It's a hard choice, but since I am originally a diehard Roland afficionado, I will probably get the Roland E-X50 because of the sounds, 256 note polyphony powerful speakers and professional connectivity and textured keys with good action.

@@JeremySee if not for space and resources, we can justify out toys as tools the more we can attest to their value of investment, potential to make profit, or other unique qualities and advanced capabilities you need. For you it is your trade, vocation and area of expertise. I am more a hobbyist, hoarder, technical researcher and critic, with a music background. I try not to be partial, and appreciate all the goid products despite having preferences. But I like assisting others with their endeavors to help you assist others withbthese chouces and other tips, so you can have more time focusing on what to do so well. So many times people comment with questions about things you already addressed or have videos on, so I usually reply to those if I can assist them. Over this time since I found your KZbin channel I have kearned a lot, also to improve my decision making in choosing keyboards and such, and tips and knowledge to share in various ways. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences pools are resources of knowledge and implementation to suitnour various differrnt musical and other needs. There's a lotvof other great video channels that do this but many havecthe more technical, traditional and clinical approach, compared to your amicable, relaxed, casual and relatable approach that makes your videos so enjoyable and popular.

Everyday I'm looking here for the Casio CT-S500 vs Yamaha PSR E473 comparison hahaha I know they are very different keyboards, but Jeremy can you make this comparison, please? I know people would love to watch it and hear your opinions
@jjacob251012 жыл бұрын
They are very comparable. Each have their perks over the other. I would scrutinize those features from the videos he made for what suits you better. Both sound great, but personally, I would pay more, and spring for the CT-S1000V or PSR-EW425 for the Voice synthesizer on the Casio, or the 76 keys, the improved default grand piano and better organ tones, plus more powerful speakers on the Yamaha over the PSR-E473. But niw the Roland E-X50 cane out, at thatcseems awesome for $400 with pro level sounds, connectivity, and 256 note polyphony.

I see that it's only possible to mix 2 sound maximum, as well as not possible to regulate the volume of style single track, right? It's only possible to regulate the sound's volume of full style, as I can see. I'm talking about this because I'd decide between CT s500 and Korg i3. Or... Can you suggest me about keyboards with my mentioned additional future?

Hi Jeremy, i need your help please, which should I choose to learn piano between a casio cts-1 and an alesis recital 88? Their prices at my country are around 270 usd for the casio and 335 for the alesis, obviously i am aware that the alesis is an 88 Keys but I have seen your reviews od the casio and it looks really good, i might have a device of better perfromance with 61 Keys than one of 88. Thanks and congratulations.

Hi Jeremy, new sub here. I just recently got the v1000 and love it so far. Is there a way to transpose on this keyboard? I am having trouble finding how to online and on KZbin. I know that in Guitar Tabs you change change the song into any key you want but, sometimes it would be nice to play maybe simple chords in a different key for certain songs. I guess mainly for piano sheet music songs I already have but wish they were lower or higher.
