You got the wrong impression, pal... Seu Jorge makes tremendous success with ALL his songs in Brazil.. Jorge Ben wouldn't have such a long career [since 60's] if his talent wasn't recognize in Brazil either.. his 50 year old songs still play every year at carnivals. Elis Regina is considered untouchable, her voice is still reverenced and she's consider to have one of the most beautiful voices of Brazil, having been eternalized in the gorgeous classic Waters Of March. As of Luisa Maita and Thiago Pethit I've never heard before.. Luisa i saw started 9 years ago, pretty young career which means she still have time to become huge.. and about Thiago Pethit, I couldn't find a source with information about him and his career [only that he was in a movie] so I don't really have much to say.
