This song remind's me of our early childhood that we all had a dream of a great and better Nigeria, a time when all tribes and regions lived as one Nigeria until our present witch craft, wicked and heartless politicians came onboard and messed up our future. Ma, may your soul rest in peace. You brought pride to us as a Nation. RIP Ma.

@@Christy_Essien_IgbokweThought so. Always ever saw the video of her Seoul performance (which she won!) as video for this song on TV. Love love love love her! Always mining her songs as a kid. Those songs! Her voice!!Her acting, wow!! Natural, effortless beauty. Class. Dignity. No negative press about her. Ever. Pure talent, can sing, act and dance. Check out her beautiful shape here. And graceful steps. And then, check out her fiery dance in Tenu Lu Nla decades later. What!!?? And she's not Igbo. So, must've learnt Igbo dance as an adult, married to an Igbo. Yet, that her solo energetic power dance routine is FIRE🔥!! Worthy of an award even today. Continue to rest well ma'am, the forever Lady of Songs. A class act!

In foreign land. US? So, this song was recorded & backed up by whites? Always thought the "Seun Rere" chorus has this tinge of foreigness to it eachI hear it. Now I know why. Deeper respect!! But, it should've been out out way back then, to uplift her pedigree so she could personally take her flowers for this feat while she was here. She is still here though. Take your flowers Mama.
