as a dental student I kind of feel sad to see children crying because of dentists but I'm glad he managed to make it through without whining so much. other kids would have probably cried to the point they end up leaving the dental clinic. parents, child and their dentist should work together to lessen the child's trauma coz once someone ends up having a trauma it'll take time for them to get over with it. I grew up not feeling scared of dentist and doctors or getting a shot, though it's probably because most of my relatives are doctors and since both my parents are dentists and I grew up understanding their work. I remembered my mom use to call me over when she has a child patient whose scared and she uses me as an example to prove that there's no need to be scared of dentist. there's no need to be scared of those who wishes to help you. taking care of your oral health can also help with your overall health. sorry if I'm making a speech, I just thought about it after seeing this. anyway seungjae is so cute and is raised well :)

Linh Nguyen thanks for the info :) since I always help my mom at the clinic as a front desk attendant I end up entertaining kids who come and visit so I guess I'm just fond of seeing them smile though at times I do see crying kids as well. I know we need to have lots and lots of patience to do the work, that's why I feel glad to have kids who aren't so scared coz it makes the job a bit easier but I know not all kids are easy to handle. most if not all are hard to handle, right? :)

It’s always so fascinating watching this scene because, IMO, this was when Jiyong was probably at his worst in terms of being able to handle an upset Seungjae lmao (Jiyong just looked so flustered watching Seungjae freak out lmao he was like “do I touch him or???” ) In current episodes he’s able to relate and understand Seungjae through all his moods so much easier (naturally).
