Everyone was sad that he removed talking section but he said he is so busy that he had to remove the talking section they’re on world tour so we all understand and respect that

Yeah. During their tour schedule, Seungmin doesn't really have time to film a lot of the Song By series. So he is trying to co-ordinate over email & phone with his arranger & guitarist & keyboardist. So the last few have been just the song, when he has time to get together with them. He has a few behind the scenes shorts where he says this. I look forwards to having his thoughts again, when he has time.

In the first episode, the Korean song he sang was his own Stars and Raindrops. One of my favorite songs ever. His voice is so pretty and that song was perfect (for me at least)

The story behind him singing "21, 25" is kinda interesting. He loves that song. And a few years ago on a show, he was put on the spot by the hosts & asked to sing a bit of it. He did, and wowed everyone. But he really wanted to do the song justice, so he hasn't sung it again till now. He was asked to cover it a lot, but took his time with his preparations for it. I'm so glad he was able to perform it so well.

hi Pierre, thank you for your reaction to seungmin's song by series; ep 7 I think the song 25, 21 is nostalgic for him, you will notice the background has many of seungmin's past, eg his guitar, skz photos and their albums, his daengmo stuff dog, his old school bag, and of course his baseball glove, etc 😊

The song 25, 21 by Jaurim is wonderful and i found a very powerful cover by Younha. But don't listen to it!!! I cried 5 times in a row while repeatedly listening to it. It's so incredibly heartbreaking, especially knowing that Jaurim wrote it when she lost her boyfriend - he was 25, she was 21. I love Seungmin's voice. I just love it. I listen to Destiny 10 times/ day. Lol, it's playing right now again 😅

The song from Ep. 07 is called Twenty-Five, Twenty-One. The original was sung by an indie Korean rock band called Jaurim. It was first released in 2013. Then it was used as an OST for a 2022 K-drama, also called Twenty-Five, Twenty-One. There's a real difference in the vibe between the original and the SONG BY version.
