So for those who don’t believe Seungri is guilty and are asking why Koreans are acting as if he is guilty even though there isn’t much evidence, let me explain South Korean prostitution and business. (Also, Seungri may not be the *owner* of Burning Sun, but he is listened as one of four executive directors along with Lee Sung Hyun, Lee Moon Ho, and an individual labeled as Kang. Not only that but one of shareholders is Yuri Holdings (20% of Burning Sun), which Seungri is the Co-CEO of) *this will be long* In South Korea, people will look down upon prostitution and put up a proper face in public, but everyone knows about prostitution, everyone does it. These prostitution places are called red-light districts (there can be tens of them in a single town) In the documentary Save My Seoul, the guys making the film went around to different police stations asking about red-light districts, whether it’s legal, and the laws on them. Some turned them away, another said those don’t exist anymore, and another said that police only look for them if there’s an official report (then they’re obligated by law) but otherwise told the guys to have a good time. Police do not shut down red light districts and in return, they expect free services. In interviews from Koreans on the streets, they revealed they did not feel remorse or pity for the prostitutes. Also, one man said that once reaching adulthood, it was almost a right of passage to buy prostitute services to help him lose his virginity. In a national surgery, 1 out of 5 men in their 20s admitted (meaning there could be more that were not honest) that they bought sexual services at least 4 times a month. When prostitutes themselves were interviewed, they stated that once people found out what they did, they were treated differently. They were outcasts and looked down upon. Now for the business side, there are these places called Salon Rooms where business men often place meetings. There, they are entertained by women and given sexual s pleasures. (This topic is delved deeper into by dkdk in a previous livestream) Putting that together, Seungri having business talk about giving girls to clients sounds like complete truth since it happens all the time. It’s not just joking around because it’s so common. As for the women, perhaps they were too afraid to speak out, 1) because they don’t want to be outcasts (if people found out they were used for prostitution, they are still considered dirty), 2) paid off. Also, if drugs were involved, that could easily hide the memories of those women of the things done to them. It could have easily been hidden from the victims.

I live in Poland (Europe) and I was driving to work this morning and our biggest radio station was talking about Seungri situation in they morning news. This got me seriously confused because they don't even play kpop, non of our radios really (maybe of you count Dua Lipa&BP song) And now they are talking about it. This clearly goes way beyond kpop.

I’m my opinion, I hate what he has done and he deserves to receive some sort of punishments. But he’s probably going to get away with this. I think the prime reason why he hasn’t confessed yet is because he probably think he can get away with this despite all the evidence against him. He can easily bribe as he made a lot of money, there no real witness (no victim willing to confess, which I also think is right because of their safety). Really all we have are the text messages...and he can easily make up lies. Not saying he all guilty cuz i wasn't there, but to some extend he is involved...
