Nice game. Keep in mind that the DoT damage from Fire Blossom procs the passives on items that require you to do magical damage. So you're going to start getting stacks on items like World Breaker as soon as you enter that range.

You did a great job on Sev! That Zarus made quite a few beginner mistakes. Like around 12 min. He ulted when he was already dead which is a huge waste and if he saves it until he came back he could've ulted to secure the kill on you and get a stack.

Bout to watch the vid but update on the build. Prophecy, Oathkeeper, Infernum. Went Tainted Scepter and was building Noxia last but on Shinbi I SHREDDED. Went Typhoon for extra atk speed and the dash when needed but really only used it for when they ran from me. Needs more testing but it worked too well against the entire team. None of them dared challenge me 1v1 or even 2v1. Don't get me started on objectives. Ran out of mana a few times and was still running people down. Quick updated you 100% NEED Alchemical Rod first then Finish Azure Core after Infernum or later I keep forgetting about those two and was just toughing it out without mana for too damned long.

Sevrog and greystone used to be my only played characters in paragon. I’m like if how they feel in this patch. They feels tanky, and can deal some damage in long fights.

So I have been playing Sevarog for a while and mostly in the jungle for myself and the crest and items I get most of the time are razorback, fire blossom, elafrost, flux matrix, frostguard, unbroken will, and either fist of razuul or tainted bastion/guard

?How do you deal with this matchup early if the enemy Zarus just got hyper aggressive and tried to all in every time you walked up? You shouldn't win a long trade 1-5, right?

You can win any long trade if you have minion advantage. As soon as Zarus gets super aggressive, walk back toward your tower/minions and trade back at him. Your damage + minions is going to outrade his damage as his minions will be too busy running to do much damage. And of course, don’t trade with him if he has a large minion wave

I like to see the buffs to Sevarog but I still feel he's kind of in a meh spot considering tanks imo don't have a big role in Pred yet. Very solid game though you had good stacking considering you had to run across the map to look for farm lol

I liked Sevs style, but didn't get on with him. I like to think I'm a better player now, so perhaps its time I dust him off.

Honestly i would discourage sev offlane as much as possible, the bruiser scaling spikes and the kits the offlane picks have just make sev very weak early and theyre near all easily able to control the lane and slow sevs ability to scale further weakening your overall power in the game. Grux, terra, aurora, zarus, greystone all give you extensive trouble early game with 3 of the 2 being able to force you out of farm easily at all stages before late build. You can get away with sev offlane, he's very strong into ranged and mage offlanes and in half the melee matchups you can at least hold on by a thread and be down all game but not out. But sev with his buffs has grown into a very top notch jungler. He has the mobility to steal effectively if youre well timed or build fire-blossom-fist of raz first 2 items... jungle lets your stacks scale a bit faster than offlane 1v1s will grant you... and map presence is sevs only value... sev is a useless team mate if he isnt in the fight... and having a sev hard farming in a back footed offlane for 20 minutes is pretty bad for a teams win chances and early game growth... so i say sev offlane rarely, situationally... but primarily sev jungle. Cause having sev avaliable for ganks, collapses, and obj all game results in wins... his dmg buff is noticeable, he isnt a joke to duel with 2 items and a stack tier and my current jung build beats skysplitter build khai in a head on trade at lvl 18. His root is the single biggest kill secure in the game, at max lvl with just 35 haste from 2 items its a sub 7 second cool down for a ranged hard root+followup slow. Your ganks are absurd if you can master hitting this ability always... sev ult has a hidden mechanic where looking down in ult will decrease their stun duration but increase the distance they fly backwards and his ult in general is a top tier kill maker, or fight disruption with its worse usage being removing 1 person from a fight completely for 2-3 seconds deoending on the situation or how you follow through. Sevs late damage per minute on siphon with a proper dive tank build is actually high as hell, with a sub 2 second cooldown easily achieved, it allows you to win 1v1s with every character in the game that lacks heavy pen, and sustainability. But again you wanna get to that stage and the best way to reach it is by impacting the map and reaping rewards in jungle play. Rather than hiding offlane till 120 stacks and pretend the last 25 minutes didnt need you ever. Jungle allows a fluid farm-kill participation, obj, flow that sev needs to scale hard and constantly. After paragon ditched legacy and became monolith map i 1 tricked sev for 3000 hours... im glad he is changed almost none in pred but i also wish pred gave his passive more size scale so sev actually became physically bigger and more space incompassing like OG paragon. Made body blocks insane.

The problem in jungle sev is that all the junglers are just better. He can still be played and if you’re good you can get 160 stacks at 20 minutes. Check out some of the pros and how they use him in scrims. I know import started using severog in game.

Zarus apparently has issues with tanks in general. Besides it's not like you can pressure Sev to begin with. What usually happens is that you lose stacks. And that loses you the game.

Fist of Razuul is so shit man. In that endgame fight it procced a grand total of twice dealing 660 damage pre-mitigation so realistically more like 450~ damage. They really need to buff that item, with 5.5k health that shit should be dealing 500 damage a proc At Least if they're gonna keep it so asinine to keep stacks on.
