yes and balboa park is very calm and has a lot of shade and plants flowers and they have ducks butterflies and birds, and theres people selling food on the sides and jewelry and drinks and ice cream and theres little shows and people playing instruments its very nice. and san diego zoo is a great place too for souvenirs, see animals, and theyre both great places if youre trying to get exercise. ive lived here all my life and been to both at least 30 times

If you want to visit most or all of the museums in Balboa Park, you should buy an Explorer Pass which will save you a lot of money compared with buying individual tickets. Here is a link to more information on this: explorer.balboapark.org/ Also, there are a ton of marked hiking trails in the park as well which most visitors and probably some locals aren't aware of ; this website link has more information on that part of the park: www.balboapark.org/enjoy/trails After clicking on this link, click on any or all of the photos to get much more information about the trails in the part of the park that the photo mentions.

Yes, it’s $58 for a one day pass to the zoo. A child pass is $48.

The elephant swaying back and forth is a sign of stress ! The elephants at SD zoo are bred and their babies sold to other zoos breaking essential family bonds that elephant herds have for life . Incredibly cruel to these majestic animals.
