That was great. I used to walk across the Quince Street Bridge every day on my way home from school (SDHS). Of course, that means also that I walked through Balboa Park every day. We lived at Spruce and Second. You skated past our house. It was the one next to the mansion on the corner. The Spruce Street Suspension Bridge was unknown to outsiders then. My brother's girlfriend (now his wife) was afraid of it. Thanks.

This is so interesting! I didn't know about all of these different bridges around town. I was a youngster when I lived in the area. Now thanks to you I have some new places to explore if I ever decide to make the long drive back. About 6 hours I figured with traffic.

I think I've crossed most of those bridges at one time or another.I'm currently in La Mesa, but most of the time, I've lived in North Park and Normal Heights...crossed over the Georgia street bridge many times
