Why do these things always make me cry? So cool to see this after being there to take photos of the construction just starting and seeing it continue through the walls last year. Now, to figure out how to get down there again to ride it!

If I could describe this ride in one word: unfinished. It has an amazing landscape and animatronics...and that's sadly it. It's sooooo short, not thrilling at all (like the Barnstormer), and leaves me saying "that's it?". With all the space Magic Kingdom has, why couldn't they finish this? It feels like it was done on a tight budget. I'd give up the Little Mermaid and Belle stuff for a complete mine train. There should have been a more dark ride scenes, it should have been more thrilling (there's always the Barnstormer for people who don't want thrills), and the whole thing should've been MUCH longer. It's frustrating that Disney didn't realize the amazing potential this ride had.

Everyday at at 10:30, 12:30, and 3:00 pm you can enjoy the "dedication ceremony" starring chairman Tom Stagg, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. But I think there are fewer showings in the off season.
