I've had trouble finding some of my favorite Vintage Movies. So I started seeking these off of KZbin, and uploading better copies of what I watch every day. So every post is the film or tv program I've watched that same day. Being retired leaves plenty of time!
LOTS of British movies, from Classics to B Movies, primarily suspense, spooky, stormy stuff from 30s/40s/50s/60s/70s/80s/90s~though my favorite is 30s/40s!
You won't see too many chick flicks though---more of a tomboy! 🫶
Something you'd like to see? Let me know!
~Moxie~

I love old Hollywood movies ever since I was a child, and I am 58yrs old. But mystery movies and film noir are my two least favorite genres. But I really enjoyed this old mystery movie. The old hermit was my favorite character. Thanks for posting.

@@moxievintage1390 All kinds of movies from this era with the emphasis on espionage, film noir, scifi & horror, not forgetting comedy. My least favorites are ‘step up’ genre. Still they’re models of decency compared to what we have now. However, there are exceptions like the recent « A Christmas Carole »

Black and white movies are THE BESTEST!!! Hope you enjoy this one!! 😍 It combines my favorite backdrop-a dark and stormy night! And adds some mystery and comedy and voila! Cinematic perfection!! I haven’t ever posted an actual movie on my channel before, but I just might start!! I went to watch this film yesterday (I have massive KZbin playlists with movies from every decade) and the 1947 version was no longer on KZbin! I found it on archive.org and uploaded-crossed my fingers that there are no copyright issues! My upload was blessed by KZbin aka the movie is public domain! #Yay! Ps! Hope you are enjoying the weather!! 🥰

THANK YOU Glenda, for the suggestion! I have added it to my list to look into. I am somewhat limited as many movies, even very old ones, have copyright restrictions and cannot be played on KZbin, BUT! I am getting better at finding ALLOWABLE, FABULOUS, FUN old films to watch. As someone that grew up during the 60s and 70s, it was VERY hard to watch these back then--no VHS no DVD no streaming etc! You either went to the THEATER to watch OR you lucked out and caught a replay on the UHF channel on your TV--and since the reception was provided by an antannae on the back of the TV, the movies were dark, and snowy and often impossible to see!!!! SO TO BE ABLE TO FIND THESE GEMS ON KZbin, CLEAR AS A BELL, able to be watched time and time again? WELL THAT, my friend, is a GIANT WOW and THANK YOU to the FILM GODS!!! Happy Saturday, I hope you are enjoying it!

"Seven Keys" has almost as many productions as "Phantom of the Opera", but we can tell how this version casts the hero the moment we see --- the polka dot bowtie. Did anyone ever play it straight and serious wearing a bow tie, with polka dots?

OH MY GOSH, a truer statement has rarely been made!!!! There is simply no comparison, and most interesting films, that had great cinematography and production values and wonderful directors and the ACTORS and ACTRESSES were real STARS, well most were over by the end of the 70s imo. I am astonished at the garbage they put into movie theaters these days, and I haven't been to a movie, other than with my granddaughter, so a family event....well I can't even remember the last movie I went to see for myself. I do like good science fiction, through all the decades, but they still have to be top notch for me to be interested in--and science fiction really must be viewed on the large screen. OH and the prices of going to the theater!!! A family of four will spend $125 with refreshments! THAT IS INSANE! I clearly remember going to the movies myself from age 8, on a regular basis and it was like 75 cents to get in and candy, popcorn and a drink was 50 cents!!!!! But of course, my favorite was the DRIVE-IN!!! Hope you're watching some great movies this weekend!!! Moxie xoxo
