I second this. I'm only 17, finally got a job, got college tutions to pay for once I'm out of high-school so I can go to school in September, and life seriously hit me in the face like a brick. I've seen the quotes that say "Remember when we were kids that wanted nothing more than to grow up? What the hell were we thinking?" I now get it. How do you deal with the stress of adulthood because I feel like I'm being tested as is.

@@kayleighberkana Oh boy, my stories could fill a book. These days I'm running my own graphic arts LLC while living in a secondary house on the parents' farm as the head mechanic. My brother and I are building a 4 bay garage this summer. Life's pretty good. Here's some life lessons I've had myself. Not sure if these will be of any use, but hey retrospectives are fun: -Be open minded to everything, but have a healthy dosage of skepticism for everything you get told -Think for yourself, and don't blindly rely on others -Only you will watch out for you -Be politically centric because both sides have crazies, and you really don't want to associate with them -Every news channel has an audience to cater to. Some cater left, some cater right. Be aware of how they all phrase and annunciate, and again, have a healthy dosage of skepticism. -49% of internet traffic are bot accounts as of 2023. Don't waste time arguing with people who have no content or are using the default generated profile pictures and user handles. This is more feeling-bait tactics used to influence the population -Meet as many people from as many paths of life as you can -Be kind and smile -Walk softly, and carry a big stick. Mine is in the flavor of a Ruger EC9s -Road rage isn't worth it. Just let the other party be a jackass somewhere else. You'll feel like crap and lose a night's sleep after fighting someone -Suic*de isn't worth it either. No matter how shit life may be, you will bounce back. Been there done that -Run away from abusive relationships. If there's only a glimmer of niceness in a festering ball of hate, they aren't worth it. Don't throw your happiness away for crumbs of joy. -Just because someone close in your life dies doesn't mean you aren't you anymore. Remember who you are, mourn, and press on. -It's okay to be sad as much as it is okay to be happy. Cry if you need to, jump with glee if you want to. -Getting laid off isn't as scary as I thought. Just make sure you have a lot squirreled away in savings -You could always use another shed -A lockpick rake will defeat most locks within 10 seconds if you know what you're doing -REX sensors can be tripped by spitting water between the door cracks. -Acting like you belong somewhere can get you into many places you really shouldn't have access to. -The CIA tried to weaponize a cat once, so there's one reason to read the fine print in budget reports as provided by local, state, and federal treasuries. (They called it the Acoustic Kitty) -DefCon is a great convention if you want to learn how vulnerable everything is -Service workers will like you more if you can shorten what you want to say in a condensed sentence. -Saying "It's okay, I used to work retail too. I know how it can be some days" to a retail worker who is visibly in distress will eliminate any and all tension and they'll drop the smile-always mask and talk naturally to you. It'll make their day easier and they'll try to make the process smoother for you. I've unintentionally gotten some mad discounts that way. -Learn as many skills as you can from car maintenance to home improvement. You'll be tested every few months by life itself -Don't go to college. There's plenty of online courses for free these days that you can self-teach yourself anything and build a website to showcase your skills. I have the college diploma, but most of my friends who I turn to for help are self-taught. -ADHD sucks. lol I could share more, but I'd be here for hours. Middle school/high school still feels like yesterday, but it's not. 7 years working at a sim company, watched it fold from loss of funds, 3 cars, a motorcycle later and here I am. These days if I'm not drawing furries I'm traveling the country to go to conventions or hang out with friends. Last weekend I went to Richmond Virginia which is 8 hours away to spend a weekend with some buds because fuck it, why not. I was bored and they were free.

I thought it said,conversion...and it makes sense to me,because it's all I see. I see people of faith, hailing everything God says he's sick of,because the things he gave if out of grace and mercy,we have held on to to the point that we fear to let go of it,to the point where scripture says,he's sick of it all,our sacrifices empty words, our double talk,we speak of forgiveness, yet, there's no room for murders to be forgiven,we speak of forgiveness for them, but we hear a case and we talk as if there were no such thing...we speak of a simple life, yet ,we hail every tradition in the book,in which Satan prevails and builds up because of materialism,in which he say he will destroy,to tear our pride down, until faith is truly just in him...he says,he will send the storms, the ravaging fires, but he says,we are to proud, his efforts were in vain,he tried to take out our impurities, but we are to proud,so he will send more, until his anger subsides. It's the ones who don't beleive in his name who find more forgiveness towards others,it's the athiests who fight for the earth, which he said he gave us to take from, but to care for,to take, with kindness, with Thanksgiving, and to give back,we've taken,in excess...he says,he uses the wicked, and those we don't deem worthy,or seem worthy,he says he uses the foolishness if the world and and he gives evil men over to their plans for the hour of his wrath...the cause and effect of our actions,he is,the Alpha, and the Omega...the I AM...THE BEGINNING AND THE END... I used to think, the world would simply think of good as bad,and bad as good...but,I see now that, those who hold his name, are being held high, being made to speak out, speak loud, because their ways ,our ways, are causing the world to stumble because though we have spoken the name of Jesus,we have spoken forgiveness,he have blasphemed it with our hearts ,and actions... We are being used,to bring out the full anger of the world,to set it on fire,to end grace once and for all,so that we can have a new beginning,so that we can break, with all the chaos we will cause and make manifest by exalting our pride by roaring like the lions we are, lions who are waiting to be tamed, caught,we are letting the world we've oppressed, here we are,as if all we've done, will not haunt us...were seeing God's work reveal itself, manifest itself,in a way we truly didn't expect, because we can't see past the physical...we can't see the spiritual side of things,we know by what we've read, but beyond the words,we can't truly x-ray it all,and put it all into place...see it all morphe and warp ...it's funny, the very ones fighting for the system to keep it from collapsing, though they know God said,it will happen,it's what he's going to do,so be faithful, know that it's coming, expect itzbe read to let go of it all,are the very ones fighting to the teeth for it,can it be we are the ones Jesus warned against, can it still be us,the very ones who are stoning and crucifying him still, and the ones of those who we hatezqre the ones trying to sqve the spirit of Jesus, wether we know it or not, they know it or not..there's a spiritual side to all these things,in which, the words of beleif,or disbelief, are simply that, just words...but the actions speak for themselves and ,I wonder...because we've blasphemed his holy name,so,will those who have become sinners, because we have become a stumbling block to the world, will they be forgiven, because although they've sinned according to the law, their heart was in the right place, and will we suffer because, though,we've held his name, spoken and preached forgiveness,we've killed it??? Have things warped put of place, but is hard to see... I do see conversion....

I don't know why anyone misses the 90's because if this song came out in 2019 it would still do well. The genre still lives. When I was kid in the 90's the music from 10 years prior to my existence (the 70's) we had the disco era, then a decade later a new era of music came to pass during the 80's, both decades had their own era of music each very distinct from eachother. Those eras have come and gone and in the pursuit of musical careers you really don't hear about people wanting to release disco or electro synthwave music. Alternative rock hit big in the 90's and 29 years later it prevails! People to this day and for many years to come can pursue a profitable musical career using this style of alternative rock and roll.

Basketball players (like Michael Jordan) were way cooler and more popular than any of todays newer basketball players. The fact being that nowadays unless you watch basketball or are a sports fan you are unlikely to know any names of any new basketball players playing for the Chicago Bulls. Back in the 90's damn near everyone knew the names Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O'Neal, Dennis Rodman, and Larry Bird, even those who weren't fans of the game.

From a time when originality and talent were the sound and the feel of the day. Everything felt “new” again, and that hasn’t happened sense. I’m great full that I was there to experience an era, that I’m afraid might never return again.
