I have been given the silent treatment by my wife for 15 years. The last 4 years she hasn't spoken to me at all. Only in the last year I have also gone silent due to no option. Best thing I have done for the sake my peace and my son. Plan to get out soon.

Ahh man this hurts real bad. I was discarded 2 months ago. Both of us have been in strict no contact since. This is like coming off of cocaine. The ruminating has been relentless. I’m proud for not trying to break no contact or pay her a visit like I normally would do. I knew all along she wasn’t right and so I didn’t give the relationship everything and she used those reasons as to why she doesn’t want to be with me anymore. But would you give your partner everything they deserve if they don’t deserve it. No. So it was always going to fail anyway. I guess I was waiting for the side of her I first met when she was love bombing me. It hurts like hell let me tell you and I hope I can get past this and not let it take me down. She began the silent treatment and I followed suit. I wonder if it has affected her. This video helped me to understand I am doing not only the best thing for me but the best thing I could do to the narcissist who dumped me and implemented the silent treatment. To be silent back. I didn’t sign up for this what a waste of time and energy and a huge amount of pain. The mask fully dropped and when I saw who she really was beneath the mask it was not the person the was being all throughout so when someone shows you who they really are you’ve got to believe them. Not who they were at the beginning who they are when they discard you and put all the blame on you and leave you hanging off a cliff till you cannot hold any longer then they look at you from above whilst standing on your fingers

Don't question your past behaviour. Stay strong, none of your actions has been the problem but her totality.

It is hard.i loved my ex narc.like no other. I knew her from way back in high school 45 yrs.ago.let her in as a friend Aug of 22 told her no relationship, well she wormed her way in and I went thru hell. Iam not doing the silent as punishment tho, just can't take the manipulation. I wish her the best. But I need my peace also.
