The hospital scene with Charlie (Harrelson) and Hans's (Walken's). It's not gonna make sense if you don't know what happened before this though.

I like how Woody's character is a brutal murderer and a gangster that intimidates everyone around him, yet Walken is intensely more frightening in this scene by hardly saying anything at all and just smiling.

That's one of the most intimidating scenes I've ever seen in a film. It's just a simple callback to what we believed was an unrelated story, and the reveal floored me the first time I saw it. We know not to fuck with this guy from the story. The mob boss doesn't even need to hear it, he knows how the intimidation game is played, and he just lost to a veteran.

The Sicilian speech is still one of the greatest moments in movie history, as a history buff how I can confirm it’s rooted in truth too which makes it so much worse and better.
