Seven Sisters Skyline 50k 2020, Dunlewey, Donegal (Sky Runner Series)

Here is my start to finish video of the Seven Sisters Skyline Race in Donegal. 50+km and 4,000m+ elevation done and dusted. It was a fantastically organised race with relentless hills and challenging heat.
3 minutes after the race... would I do it again?... No.
3 days after the race... would I do it again?... 100%

Fair play, great going!! Whatever about all of those hills, I have no idea how you survived out there without a sun hat, sunglasses, etc.! I wouldn't have lasted long. I was out hiking in Connemara during that warm spell and found the heat + sun and humidity tough going.

Oh I had the hat hanging off me and sunglasses packed. So much of the course is into valleys with no sun :)

Well done finished strong in the end. Very tough course by the looks of it. What would you say is the toughest climb? I have entered the 27km race in August myself.

Oh. The Errigal climb at the end is hard, as it is not the tourist side climb. However the miners path route up the ridge can be quite challenging. Both involve scrambling and hands on rocks but never actual climbing. GREAT FUN.

@@Fitnessgoose did TNF of Errigal last week in a short loop with Mackoght. Really tough climb. I have done a couple of scrambles up the Miners Path at Muckish too.
