What I like over the Fifth House is: Gm7 Ab7 I Dbmaj7 E7 I Amaj7 C7 IFm to make a graduading dom flow like over Ab7 Gbmaj7(so myxoL) over E7 F#+5, so Lyd Dom and over C7 alt. or the Triads Gb Ab...I did also alterate each chord back to meldoic minor then you get over Gm7 just melodic minor over Dbmaj7 Lydian augmented and over E7 alt Amaj7 C7 alt Fmmaj melodic, then I tried to incorporate the different chrom. bebop tones there for I created a scale of 384 possibilitie's that is a mix of alt and octatonic whe I treat those four dominants G7 Bb7 Db7 E7 all as alt. so the Triads adn the7 are reamains of the half hole diminisehd scale...

For real, you are one helluva player! I wish I could play half as good! So, the Godin is nice? It sounds good! I was thinking of getting one, I play some classical and Bossa. My guitar is nice (an old Takamine) but the electronics need updated, so i am debating about selling it and buying one with electronics in it.

Hi MIkko, there was also one guy on youtube who played: over Bmaj7 D7 Gmaj7 Bb7 Ebmaj7: Ebm7-Ab7(Tritone-sub)& Bm7-E7> Gm7, I find it hard to let tha6t sound good or resolve good over the II V's he did like Fm7 Bb7 Eblaj7; Fm7 one bar and Gm7 one bar, that I dig...could you help us out ?

I have tried to solve this progresione over the chords, and I don get this ig, Bmaj7 trhough the D7 ( alvays as 9 usaly without the 5 . As 1..3. Small 7 is,NT that the micsolysdien. Ok when i Just use my ear and alao heving progression in mindre but.not on the fretboard. I acept it sounds and a avlyse hwat i do it comes Outl to be Just corect over the årogression. I also move the melodi UP half step ,it Just sound right.

Mikko, how would it be played in 7? Would it be a bar of 4 then a bar of 3 or every bar in 7? Never heard it in seven. Any examples ? Thx!

Yes most common to feel it as 4+ 3. But it could also be 3+4. I have a video on soloing over odd time signatures. 🤓
